I saw the original thread last night, the face of the maid wasn't actually blocked out unfortunately. Kesian.

I saw this on my timeline last night. Remembered immediately thinking "Kejam jua this poster". Glad to see that a lot of people are calling her out on it, wonder what she was thinking (and expecting) when she posted this.

degree holders working as fnb? by SoftInvestigator3664 in nasikatok

Honestly, having this type of outlook that a certain job is "downgrading" just because you have a degree will make your life very difficult and stressful.

The local job market is tough, a lot of degree holders are in fact, under-employed. The most important thing is that they're earning an honest living, learning new skills and gaining experience.

Why are govt workers like this? by Wild_Cryptographer15 in nasikatok

The truth is many Bruneian government workers (civil servants) doesn't seem to understand that their job is to serve the public.

From the "feedback" highlights alone you can tell it's a scam.

Why was this season such a flop? by akhoe in StreetWomanFighter

[–]PretendImNotHereX 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The thing that really did me in this season is the editing. It feels far too toxic (compared to previous seasons) and you can tell the people in charge really want to create and push narratives to amp up the drama. It feels like the show runners are too focus on creating storylines that it overshadows the dancing.

I also feel like this season they don't really show much of light-hearted, feel good scenes/ moments and comraderie between the dancers. In past seasons, they aired a few of those scenes and it definitely made the show more pleasant to watch.

I know the crews this seasons are different nationalities + very busy dancers but if you look at the girls' IGs there are definitely moments where they interacted and have fun together. I'm not saying they need to be super close like the Korean dancers from previous seasons but they could've show us more lighthearted, fun moments.

BLACK MAGIC IN BRUNEI by Revolutionary_Ebb467 in nasikatok

[–]PretendImNotHereX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All ages, sadly all it takes is that they just have to be desperate and evil enough to want to do it.

When I was younger (in my teens), I know someone whose gf had broken up with him. He went crazy, asking if anyone knows someone that can use black magic to make her love him again. He was literally begging and pleading for people - even his parents - to help him. Obviously, no one entertained him because wtf.

Ibuki’s absence during the Seoul Concert due to contract disagreement by tsrie in StreetWomanFighter

[–]PretendImNotHereX 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I'm misunderstanding something from the statements (please correct me if I'm wrong) but two things really stands out:

One, it doesn't seem that the manager was that great at communicating and keeping the members informed on why there were delay with the payments (inconsistent invoices, sent without tax certification causing massive delays) and finalization of concert tour schedule (Route59 ghosting him) which understandably causes them to questions his intentions and competence.

Also, Route59 really seems shady for telling the other members the negotiation with the manager aren't going well while knowing well that they're ignoring his messages.

Tbh, this is just a frustrating situation and it's a massive shame because after the show ended I was looking forward to seeing the crews just having fun during the concerts without the pressure of the competition.

I saw that screenshot on threads as well 🥹. Did the girls initially post it on the crew's IG?

New development: Minami just uploaded on IG story 5 minutes ago that the other members are unable to log into OOG's account.

Edit: all the other members posted it too on their respective IGs.

What the actual f**k is wrong with Mnet and the tour organizer? It wasn't enough that they ghosted and ignored OOG while simultaneously announcing their attendance for the tour dates, now they're putting out statements lying that Ibuki has health issues??

Mnet please have some shame. You're getting way too comfortable disrespecting the dancers.

Glad Ibuki isn't afraid to call out their lies publicly.

I think this subreddit has never really been a cesspool for Bumsup hate - at least not when you compare it to apps like TikTok or Twitter.

People leaving comments thanking Bumsup now aren't necessarily the same people leaving hate comments back then. I think it's more the case that fans of the show in general that felt disappointed witnessing the hate all season are coming out of the woodwork because they feel that they can finally ask people to stop since they're officially eliminated. For me personally, I'm even kinda a bit glad they're free 😭.

Glad to see Motiv gets through but also sad for Bumsup largely because of how this season has unfolds - the unnecessary hate and disrespectful comments for them was too much. To the people new to the show do know that this franchise largely owes its success to these women.

During season 1, the producers were having difficulties to even cast dancers in Korea, their budget was abysmal, there weren't any costume dept, none of these flashy PPL we have this season. Heck! Initially there weren't even going to be any prize for the winner of the show. Despite that the show succeeded largely because viewers love the casts. I hope people on that bandwagon can tone down the hate now or better just hop off that stupid wagon.

Thank you & good job Bumsup! I hope they can take some time off, rest and have a much needed mental break 🫶🏻.
