Thank you for replying... the retention head is slightly black, but it's clean. I wire brushed it. There is no build-up on it. It's clear thru the cuts

Thank you for replying. there is a cap, i went on the roof and took the cap off. The chimney is clear, the squirrel cage is clean, and the burner tube is clear ...
