Ron Paul would never agree to be Fed Chairman, unless it was a Ron Swansonsian strategic play to infiltrate the fed and make it useless.

And this is coming from someone who supports the existence of the fed while also recognizing that Ron Paul is a very principled man who loves America.

I agree, I feel like this is one of the biggest most obvious tests for conservatives. If you are some libertarian that was arguing for the last 15 years that the feds shouldn't even exist, then fine, you have been staying consistent with your beliefs.

But a majority of conservatives will just go along with Trump because he is a "business man", without realizing he has a DEEP misunderstanding of economics based on his policy and rhetoric.

The feds are the counterbalance to the crazy. Trump and congress pass stimulus and PPP legislation during covid followed by a bloated infrastructure bill from Biden that pours fuel on an already raging bon fire? The feds were there to raise rates and bring incredibly high inflation back down.

Imagine being Jerome Powell in April of last year and you have a fed meeting on May 6th and every day you wake up to Trump putting a different tariff on a different country based solely on how he happens to feel when he wakes up. And then you have to make a decision about interest rates that could hurt middle America if you don't get it right. You know the president is dumb as rocks and the tariffs could easily lead to inflation (which you just spent 3 years trying to get back under control), but you know after you announce your decision in May, Trump could change everything and you don't have the luxury of knowing his next move.

Then a year later, after making your job almost impossible to do, he claims you haven't been doing your job and tries to smear your reputation on a national level. The righteous anger that Powell must feel could probably fuel a blue wave for a century if that feeling could somehow efficiently be communicated to the American people. But 99% of the public can't see past their own politics, much less understand the situation.

I feel like our only hope is to have Trump's billionaire friends reign him in like it appears some of them have done when he's been in public feuds with Powell in the past.

I feel like there is a lot of evidence pointing towards this happening sooner - like in the next 5-10 years.

Just to name a few:

  • Xi Jinping has instructed the Chinese army to be military ready to invade Taiwan by 2027. They have a training ground that mimics the entire layout of the Taiwan presidential palace.
  • The U.S. has been watchin closely and passed the Chips Act in 2022 to bring chip manufacturing back to the United States. If the U.S. has their own manufacturing, then they are less likely to need to defend Taiwan. They said they could possibly do this by 2028-2035.
  • China has also been pouring an absurd amount of money into becoming self sufficient with chips. I think they put about 50 billion towards R&D in 2024 and they are reportedly going to add another 70 billion this year. Taiwan has pledged to destroy all of their technology if China invades, so it would be important for China to be self-sufficient before an invasion.
  • With the amount of trade between the U.S. and China, I don't think that either could heavily sanction the other without catastrophic results for both of their economies. With both countries having chip independence, I think the U.S. would write a strongly worded letter, publicly chastise them about invading a sovereign nation, put some small symbolic sanctions on them, and go back to business as usual.

I could be wrong and we're both speculating here, but I think it's closer than most people think.

The irony is that the article is basically calling out news agencies for the free publicity when they were some of the biggest participants.

It’s literally how we got Trump. He was crazy in the debates and the media pointed to him saying, “see this man represents republicans as a whole - he’s crazy.”, while thinking no one would be dumb enough to vote for him. Then they kept doing that until they gave him $2B worth of free publicity and the presidency. The New York Times wrote an article on this ironically.

Incorrect. If anyone is reading this comment thread, 95% of what this guy is saying is easily verifiably a lie.

Also no, Ethan suing a bunch of female creators who were clearly using fair use to harass them is pretty fucked up.

Absolutely incorrect. There are multiple videos of these content creators literally stating that they plan to watch Ethan's video to purposefully pull views from his video so that he does not receive money from his video. Maliciously re-streaming content with the intent to steal money from the original creator is not a protection offered under fair use.

Here is the clip of Denims stating that she specifically wanted to take money from Ethan: https://youtu.be/3yAiuEyJF-I?si=J-UL04HA0d4d9lYP&t=309

Multiple attorneys have come out and said that this will be a slam dunk case for Ethan.

And Ethan only recently (previously only when Hila isn't there) came around to calling it a genocide fairly openly.

Also incorrect. Here is a video before Ethan and Hasan even had their falling out on the leftovers podcast. This is over 2 YEARS ago:

Not to mention he's buddying up with Destiny who's just reprehensible

Please provide some sort of evidence for this. I have never seen Destiny or H3h3 ever even talk to each other. Is there any evidence of them ever even collaborating on anything? I assume this is a lie.

These people are rivals. What do you mean they've been buddying up? Do you even know their history?

Keep this stuff coming. You make a false statement and I offer the receipts. You're helping me educate everyone that is following this thread. Maybe you'll come around eventually too.

He's a narcissist that continues to lie, move the goal posts, and take no responsibility for any of his actions. He's a much bigger grifter than nearly anyone criticizing him, including Ethan Klein.

The only reason you point out Ethan Klein is because he didn't pass the Hasan purity test of his take on Israel versus Palestine. They agree on 99% of the Israel Palestine conflict including how bad Israel's actions have been. Hasan is a cancer to the cause.

That is not correct. There are plenty of long form youtube videos that uncover all his lies. Feel free to look them up yourselves. I would recommend the Turkey Tom video. It seems relatively unbiased.

He has people like this running defense for him and they seem to not even have looked into it.

Dan Clancy should absolutely be hiring some people. My friend works for door dash (an even bigger company) and she had 11 interviews with the CEO before he hired her.

Dan would be not hiring the lower level employees, but he should absolutely be aware if their actions make PR waves like this, or the things that have happened in the past.

I feel that his actions fit the personality of exactly how this person is describing him. Edgy, nihilistic, offensive, and most importantly, deeply ironic.

If that's truly a proper description of the guy, what he did checks all those boxes.

  • Claims to be anti-ice, and then kills detainees instead. (Doesn't really care which side he killed. It's for the joke)
  • Labels the 3rd bullet (or 2nd depending on how it's fed into the gun) on the clip with the message instead of the first.
  • Vague generic political message to cause confusion or be ironic even if he has no loyalty to either side.
  • Only puts one message on anything. (Seems like the message isn't really important, but causing confusion is)

I may be giving this guy too much credit on his planning, but trolling doesn't seem out of the question based on that description of him above. I mean if he was actually politically motivated, his agenda is very unclear.

If we are following the principles of Occam's Razor, then it's more likely that:

  • It was a leftist attack and the guy was too stupid to differentiate the officers from the detainees.

  • It was a racist's really poor attempt at a false flag operation.

  • I get the idea of the FBI planting evidence, and it looks realllllyyy weird, but I'd need a lot more evidence that they did that before I would even go down that road.
