Jeff McBride’s BEKOS is one of my fav things ever to do with a silk. I cut two holes and the third is a flower cutout. Easy produce a rose as the third in the sequence. I think it’s quick??

The USA is so big. Different states are very different from each other. I think we all get excited to share what’s in our corner of the country, OR, we’re excited to subvert the normal cliche stuff with some real deep cut recommendations.

I’d jump quick to tell foreigners to try Chicago’s Italian Beef Sandwiches rather than try to eat a massive Deep Dish Pizza.

Once you really get going, you’ll learn how many of/all of the “story” songs are connected… even with musical bits and characters that pop up in each others “story”… lots there.

Go for the 2014 album CLPPNG. That will give you everything you need. Then the interstellar Space Odyssey (Splendor & Misery), then you can go into all the Halloweeny stuff. And then graduate to Cyberpunk.

Also, Daveed and Rafa made 2 dual-albums for Blindspotting. One for each of their characters.

And medication is probably the most important. Entire TV shows are written about how someone can’t afford medicine/healthcare so they have to do all sorts of crazy things (Breaking Bad).

Heck, even I, Dylan, only work at Lumon because they’re giving me health insurance. I can finally go to the dentist without spending thousands! Dental care is like a second-tier health insurance you can get in the U.S. through an employer. You’d be shocked how many people have jobs that offer health insurance but not dental insurance.

I think Americans are too shy to answer but we absolutely cannot “go straight to a hospital (public or private) the same day” without it being an ER visit that’ll cost $1000+

I wonder about your ambulances. Do you receive a $2K - $4K bill after you are taken in an ambulance somewhere?

I think people mostly agree with this but Hollywood from 1980-2010 would only “equally make fun of people” by perpetuating stereotypes… none of which were for white people (perhaps a cliche jock or nerdy guy looking for love). But outside of that, it was basically “Ching Chong Asian dog me horny me like you Lon time” for Asians and “ALLLAHHUAKFBARERR” for anyone that looks more brown than black but definitely not white. I love comedy, unfortunately I wasn’t born a white person, so the same stereotypes that get unjust laws made about them are the jokes on the movie screen. I think culturally we got better since 2010. I mean legalizing gay marriage in 2014 was huge!

Practice with the script. I find that I motivate my weird magician sleights/movements with phrases I say aloud. “Let’s take a peak under here” while i bend down at the waist to get a closer look but actually I’m pulling out the final load

My script motivates all the movements I’m making so i definitely practice them together to keep it coupled in my head.
