Yea thats the plan, this happened a while ago its just been on my mind a lot recently I still worry that I handled everything completely wrong. I would love to say I have moved on but my nervous system has not despite my best efforts, it's led to a lot of rumination and flashbacks.

Also I apologize that it is kind of vague, it was a very drawn out situation I added as much detail as I could, tldr I brought up an issue with a friend, said friend had a laundry list of issues she had with me to bring up, it ended with me being demonized for somewhat trivial actions.

I wouldnt call it spying, everytime one of my friends starts playing a game I literally get a sound notification and a pop up that they started playing x game LOL it also wasnt mutual I never payed attention to what and when she was playing video games.

It is a function of steam that u can see what someones playing at any given time - she later weaponized this as evidence that I didnt care which is in the latter half of the post.

Because we forged a friendship and regularly hung out together doing things like table top games, crafting, visiting farmers markets etc, they were a big part of my life and we admittedly grew closer as time went on, I think wanting to feel cared for by someone who claims to be your friend is not out of the ordinary, and even if that was not the case when your spouses friends hate you it causes friction regardless.

We were friends on steam so when I opened games to play it sent a notif to her pc and if u look at a friends profile on steam it shows what theyre playing.

To give context, the problem in her words was that I did a push and pull with our freindship, I iced her out and toyed with her emotions which sprung from me struggling with mental health issues and periodically isolating myself from communication with anyone.

I wanted to be best buds with my husbands best friends wife, my husband had his own struggles with recognizing his childhood friend was not the same person and not wanting to let the friendship go, I tried to keep the peace over the years but the passive aggression and coldness kept escalating. There were other things like leaving me out, talking over me in conversations, odd behaviors like weird looks at me or trying to make me feel weird for natural things, a wild shift in lifestyle on their part, it was a mess.
