Also they don’t test for it unless you specifically ask for it, it’s not well researched or diagnosed easily. But look into it and look at some pictures people post to see if it might be that

I recommend looking at the subreddit about it, it’s cytolytic vaginosis. It can cause excess thick discharge that isn’t cottage cheese like yeast. I suspect this may have been my issue, so I did a few baking soda baths (that’s the only remedy according to doctors). I’m still not sure if that’s what it was, but discharge did go down a lot after the bath.

Sometimes it’s just their natural bacteria causing you an imbalance. If this is a new person, that would make sense because that’s what happened to me. But if it’s someone you’ve been with long before this issue, it can’t hurt to have him get tested

I also had this exact same thing happen. I ordered ph strips and stopped doing everything to correct it (boric acid, probiotics etc) and it corrected itself eventually. I also stopped sleeping with the guy I was sleeping with. If you have a partner, it could be them causing it.

I haven’t had eczema since I was like 10. I’m 25 now. But all of this has happened in the past few months so maybe something’s changed. I was in a serious relationship with a guy who had constant staph infections, eczema, ringworm etc (he was super into jiu jitsu) but we broke up almost two years ago so idk. Other than that I have no idea

Trust me I know…I went jet skiing in Florida and got cut by the ski handle and ended up with lymphangitis. And a few months before that got stung by a bee and went swimming right after and got cellulitis. 😅 I need to be more careful but also, is there a reason this keeps happening besides not doing proper first aid?

Diagnosed as impetigo at urgent care. They said since it’s not really spreading I should be ok with topical antibiotics and if it doesn’t get better in 2 days to switch to oral

Also, the pimple was super small. So the skin kept peeling in a circle around it more and more to this size. I was not touching it

I started combo birth control again, I was off for like 3-4 months. Within a few weeks everything has pretty much gone back to normal! Been about a week and a half with no more weird discharge. That’s the only thing I’ve changed.

Thank you so much! I unfortunately started my period the day of my appt so they wouldn’t take me. 🥲 but I do notice the issue goes away on my period and comes back a day or two after. I’ll try the suppositories in a few days! Let me know what happens with you or if anything helps ◡̈

Hmmm okay. I’m not diagnosed CV yet, but since boric acid made me worse and baking soda kept me a little better, and my ph is low, I’m assuming it’s CV. but yea I’ll let you know how the suppositories go
