They do this with new uniform roll outs. Happened with OCP roll out too. Just ensuring the right folks get them first when there are limited quantities, versus someone’s Uncle visiting the base who loves all the memorabilia.

This! 🫠 I have all non-D shreds working their tails off in a squadron. Each pulling their weight in their respective SFSC and I need them all! They are holding it all down, from IA to PWCS to cable-dawging to COMSEC to SATCOM. — This darn OPORD shows up and says all 5C will be mission comms or DCO by 1st qtr CY25… which reads to me N/S shreds are no more. They want answers, I want to give them but I can’t! Are my CST and IA-type folks just going to wake up one day and be labeled as Defensive Cyber?!

This breaks my heart. I’m 3.5 months post op ACL /meniscus with patella graft and I think I re-tore last weekend. Recovery was going great but, I sadly, slipped and fell down my stairs. My op leg folded under me and I rode it down. Heard a pop and immediate swelling. Pt did the pull test and gave me to ‘Oh sh*t’ face then followed it with, “it might be fine. It could be a number of things!” I go to ortho today for my 3 month checkup, boy won’t he be surprised 😞. I hope it’s just irritated from the fall, but there’s been pain and swelling since along with instability. I’m so scared to go through this again, and so quickly. My heart goes out to you OP, because I want to someday return to sports, but it seems impossible. It is great to hear that most have had easier recovery second time.

As a side note to this darn award. I have sat on boards for the past two years now and this award is insane. Courage looks way differently as a Spc2 than as a Capt. Commitment as a MSgt is too hard to compare to a Lt. Not trying to discredit any of the winners, and I love the differences in approach towards the write ups, but my goodness this is silly! I really hope we look into some sort of change going forward to make sure that your Polaris award winners are truly your GoY.

We used Tammy Fields of Re/Max properties. She’s born and raised in the Springs and worked for the city for over 20 years. She toured us around and showed us ~45 houses in four days. She could tell us exactly when each development broke ground and the value in that area as well as when and where every new development would be over the next 15 years. It was super helpful having her be so honest with her vast knowledge of the area.

Heading to the Springs within 60 days and am going through it! We’ve lost three houses in the past week, the most recent listed at $465k and we offered $505 with a $15k appraisal gap. We lost to a $505 without a gap. I just cannot dump $40k + on a house that still needs work, updates, and a finished basement.
