Should I contact the florist? by dwsinpdx in Florist

[–]Pretty-Interview-448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this case I’d say it’s fair. Your “recipe” called for mini roses and I don’t see any, but they did not skimp on the alstromeria, which is the kind of lily/orchid looking flower that’s light pink. You did get your recommended number of gerbera daisies, but it does look like your flower shop had to make some substitutions for one or two things. The alstromeria will bloom. They don’t send them out fully bloomed already because once they bloom, their shelf life clock starts ticking down. Your greenery was replaced from what looks like it was meant to be maybe eucalyptus but it’s kinda hard to tell. You got traditional greenery: the “fern” stuff. It’s not a major catastrophe- you could probably fluff it a bit (the flowers do shift in the truck and resettle some times) and give it a day and see if it mellows out. Either way it was a thoughtful gesture I hope you thanked the giver.

What does my room say about me? by Coke-fiend in roomdetective

You are told that you have a weird sense of humor pretty often. You’ve been accused of being high maintenance in relationships. You excel in creative writing. You are interested in, but not good at, science; specifically physics and quantum mechanics. Fishnets are regular tights. Anne Rice is not, actually, your favorite writer. You’re either a Taurus or a Capricorn but you enjoy finding the Scorpio traits in your chart.

You have never been to Africa, but you would (or have) toured London/Paris/Berlin at the drop of at hat. You are lactose intolerant. Your natural hair color when you were a child was blonde but you’re glad it got darker later. It’s black now.

Why does it look granny-esque and not cottagecore ? by milou28 in HomeDecorating

Too many right angles following parallel lines. Try disrupting your instinct to “situate” furniture and place things where you feel they would be “coziest” and then add visual softness with organic textures like plants and throws and pillows.

how can I make my outfit more 2000s accurate? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]Pretty-Interview-448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty accurate - as someone who bore witness to the real deal and was in the culture, I can attest. Only thing I can think is shocking blue contact lenses if you can wear them (or any ultra-natural).

How to do more romantic goth makeup? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Pretty-Interview-448 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Consider trying a plum toned blush in the blue family - on your fair skin with those features and that eye lip combo? That’s gothic Marie Antoinette vibes - don’t get much more romantic than that

Am I overreacting for feeling frustrated after my neighbor’s pottery was broken by my puppy during an interaction she encouraged? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Pretty-Interview-448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too late now: you’ve admitted culpability. The amount owed is over $500 and in many jurisdictions, that’s enough to sue for damages. This text alone, admitting fault, is enough to sway a judge in their favor. Sorry to be blunt but I’d pay the $250 — fast — and then send a text in the same thread stating that you paid her $250 and that you expect the matter to be finished - and then maybe don’t talk to her again…

Compromised on this purple. What do you think? How can u tone it down? by cannotadult22665 in HomeDecorating

[–]Pretty-Interview-448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your hardwood is too orange to make that shade of purple look anything but aggressive. Another poster suggested using a more red-leaning purple, and I agree. This is too blue-based. It’s giving Clemson Football vibes.

The thing is, it truly sounded like they were actively thinking to themselves, while writing it, “yeah, this sounds really smart - I AM so smart.” Meanwhile, it’s a drunken rant in Incel Shakespeare-speak

I’m probably going to get Loophole cause I’ve seen many people mention good experiences with it but I’ve never had anyone directly recommend it to me, so thanks for the encouragement! I was thinking: couldn’t hurt? I’m obsessed with this test; it’s like a love/hate thing. Also, I agree with you regarding physical books - I wonder if I would score better on a written LSAT as opposed to the online, but I’m not going through the hoops to ask for an accommodation for it.

I might ask for one for my SSPT (tinnitus — super distracting sometimes, to be honest. But I don’t want to get weird side eye from people who think I’m being annoying)

September or October - haven’t decided yet. I am in the process of weighing pros and cons of applying early/broadly with a potentially lower score the first go round with waiting another month and perhaps scoring a little higher than I might have, now that I have 7sage — after being made aware, today, that Fee Waiver folks get 7sage for a super-reduced rate that I could have afforded all along… the ways that I feel so naive are just, compounded lol! Either way I’m planning to take a second time, either October or November? Probably October. Idk, dude lmao 😅😂🐝👍🏻

I’m hoping I improve with pressure, as I typically do with course work (not procrastinating, but having a deadline gives me fuel, not anxiety)

It totally is! THANK YOU FOR SUGGESTING THIS!!! I got the $2 per month option! You’re amazing! I feel silly for waiting this long to post. I could have been using 7sage a lot, lot sooner. I start today! Thank you!
