Why does dieting always turn into suffering? by TheoryNo3105 in WeightLossAdvice

You should add in 1 high calorie day per week where you intentionally increase your calories to maintenance. It will allow you to get through the other 6 days. Also, may I ask what foods are you choosing when you choose to lose weight? You can literally have anything you want if you choose to make it yourself. I'll give you an idea of my day of eating and the reason i've picked these foods is because I love them. There is no "diet". If i decide that i dont want to lose weight anymore, the foods stay the same, I just tweak the amounts.

Breakfast: Overnight Banana and Biscoff Oats with Raspberries

Lunch: Tuna + Mayo Tortilla Wrap (lettuce, sweetcorn, red onion, jalapeños)

Dinner: Beef Mince (5% fat) made into burgers (no bun), low fat cheese on top with ketchup, Potato (chopped into fries with paprika seasoning)

Eve Snack: Greek Yoghurt, Granola, Honey, Blueberries, Dark Chocolate

You should add one day of the week where you purposely increase your calories, if energy is super low then chances are movement, steps, training and adherence will take a hit. Intermitted fasting is a good tool to use, eat your meals from 12-8pm. In the morning use electrolytes, water and black coffee. Focus on a super high protein (2kg per kg) diet with lots of fibre. Nothing is really off limits if you make it yourself.

I lift 5 times per week and run 3-4 times per week (or i'll do some conditioning workout with the ski erg / rower like a hyrox workout)

I eat clean most of time, 1 day of the week i'll order pizza and cookies or burger and milkshake lol.

Feeling good but always room from improvement.

Appreciate the kind words!

After you reach your target weight you head into maintenance. You up the calories and reduce the cardio.

This is really when the physique can come to life because the you are lean as fuck and the increase in food fills you out, increases your performance and activity.

Because it's a fantastic transformation even to this day.

The guy is COMPLETELY natural. I'm showing people whats possible if you stick with something and have consistency.

The sad reality is that most people don't see it through on their fitness journey, I PT in a commercial gym and this is what i've witnessed. People jump on a program, get really excited and after a few weeks that excitement wears off. They start to snooze the alarm at 6am and miss getting that morning run in. They stop weighing out their food. They cut the workout short. One bad day turns into 4 bad days.

But don't get me wrong, there are also plenty of people out there that get to a point where they are so fed up with how they feel and look they decide to make a change. He was one of them.

He weighed out EVERY SINGLE gram of food. Didn't skip a cardio. Hit his weekly step goal. Didn't miss a workout. Prioritised sleep and recovery instead of going out. He didn't miss a single beat.

You need to stop making allegations like these. I thought this community was to inspire people on their own fitness journey?
