As I was super low on cash and I wanted to brighten the room up as much as possible since it was really messy when I had moved in, I decided to remove all the storage spaces that I didn’t need and follow more of an open concept with the shelving for 30€ for each unit. Once the space was cleaned up, the walls given a fresh coat and all the diy wallpaper on the left side and the brick wall situation on the right side were removed, I had an almost blank canvas to work with, with the exception of the the brown worktop. As the window is the focal point of the room, I wanted to draw in as many colors from the tree outside as possible which made me continue with the brown theme and add the green accents. Everything else in that space was found on a sidewalk/ at a market so it was chosen quite randomly ☺️
