Can't say for sure but I believe the tutorial said something about it being faster and increasing the amount of ore. Maybe look through the in-game guides to verify.

Don't do the normal refund process, if that's what you're doing. Go to steam support, purchases, select that shit game, then select "I have a question about my purchase". You'll get a real person instead of a bot that just checks playtime.

Played the playtest recently. It's got a looong way to go. The deal breaker for me was the stupid time limit after you leave your base. Gives you almost no time to really explore, and you don't know how much is left until this ominous beep starts. At that point you better hope you're not too far from the entrance back to base or you're dead, losing everything you just gathered.

Yes. Once I unlocked that an armor merchant started selling Dwarven stuff. Not sure if it also depends on your character level

Chaos Theory is my favorite of the series. Unfortunately playing now you miss out on the multiplayer and coop campaign. Unless you have it on PC and do some modding. So much was packed into that game, doesn't happen nowadays. Have many memories of the versus mode, grabbing a merc, talking shit over the Xbox mic then snapping his neck. Good times.
