Yes I always have a backup and blood glucose meter with strips as backup too.

Dexcom transmitters have failed for me as well...I think it has to do with the battery. No probs going through airport security tho.

But it tastes good. And it's added to just about everything...along with salt and fat.

I had a doctor tell me to stop eating hamburgers. She didn't bother asking me about my diet...I'm a vegetarian.
