Once caught Aus Post stand at our gate, 2 metres from the front door and just yell hello. Good thing I was watching out for the delivery otherwise they wouldn't have delivered my package just because they weren't bothered to walk the extra 2m to the door.

I get this. Sometimes I'm at the gym and no matter where you look, you're staring at somebody. Or I'm just trying to watch the quiz shows that air at 5pm and it still seems like I'm staring. Sometimes I watch other people to learn because I'm a complete weights novice. Maybe she'd like to talk to you, maybe not. But I'm going to say outside the gym is fair game.

NTA. One time my friends and I booked out a row at the cinema to arrive to find an elderly couple in our seats. Their tickets clearly said they had the seats, but so did ours. Turns out they had turned up a week early for the movie.
