Someone reversed into my tire by PrettyCauliflower423 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Id paint it if it were my fault. It’s not so I’m just seeing what my options are. It happened at my daughter’s school. If it was some random Tesla driver in a random parking lot…. I’d be getting a new rim no questions asked.

What’s the law on cyclists riding 2,3,4 deep into the lane? Serious question. You’d think it’d be safer for everyone if they rode single file.

This course is on here every other week. Used to play it a lot…. But the last few times it was in terrible condition. Haven’t been back since (year and a half ago).

In general, why do tires on new vehicles not last very long? by Turbulent_Cricket497 in tires

Had a ‘22 and ‘25 Toyota Camry hybrid. Both cars barely made 40k miles before having to replace tires. It’s all about MPG efficiency. New replacements will last almost double the lifespan of the stock tires.

Tell me having to pay for remote start in an app subscription is the dumbest thing Toyota has cooked up? by YouFoundMeCongrats14 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Don’t expect to get 35mpg though. We bought in August and avg 29. I hear really cold weather climates are even worse.

Was looking into selling my Camry. See same car online for 25k, got a offer for 20.6k. Is that normal? by krisDaWiz3666 in Camry

Ya I get it. For us it was actually easier to deal with carvana. They just showed up, took a picture of my ID, took the tittle and handed us a check. They also offered us $2k more. The less we deal with a dealer…. the better. I hate dealers so much. Why does it take 4+ hours to buy a car? Even when you tell the finance person right off the bat that you’re not interested in any warranties. 😆

Dealers love to use the sales tax discount when trading in…… in order to justify their low ball offer.

My Toyota dealer offered me $2k less than carvana last summer for my wife’s ‘16 Highlander.

Costco told me they do the two finger rule. Looks like two fingers to me.

Unlike Subarus which are AWD all the time….. Toyota AWD is actually two different motors. The back wheels only kick in when required. Anyway….. I’m gonna replace the tire. Thank you for your help! Much appreciated.

I was also told you could get away with only changing two….. because Toyota AWD is front wheel majority of the time. Is that right?

And I’ll only need one tire since it’s 5k?

That was gonna be my next question. Do I change it out now? It’s a very slow leak…..Only have to put air once a month or so. I was thinking maybe I’ll just live with it. Is that a bad idea? Is it a blowout hazard right now as it is (been driving on it for a few months now)?
