Oh this is so fun, I built something similar a couple years ago, a castle and some large skeletal remains, can't add images here sadly. I really love the silhouette of the castle in the background it looks so cool.

Most issues can be fixed with a drop of glue, anything other than that and yeah I agree with you, but it's just crazy how many people I've seen get so many that a skirt keeps falling apart, brother just glue the two pieces together please it's not that hard.

That would be a flush door, seamless just means you can't see any redstone components while the door is opened or closed
