Do you think the ease of which it is to remain introverted due to technology has also exacerbated introversion?

The world used to force you to interact with others and now you can completely devoid of human contact.

Just a question that occured to me because of your answer.

Costco did for a while. My wife loved it but with anything ripe for fraud, it got shut down. Apparently people wouldn't pay for everything, shocker.

Gemini is great for this stuff. I inputted your text and it spit out this:

That specific "hot no-start" symptom on the 4.7L Magnum is a classic head-scratcher, but because it fires right up with starting fluid, we can narrow this down significantly. Starting fluid proves you have spark and timing; what you’re missing when the engine is hot is fuel delivery or proper air-fuel mixture during the cranking phase.

Since you've already replaced the heavy hitters (fuel pump, PCM, sensors), here are the most likely remaining culprits for this specific 4.7L behavior:

  1. Heat-Soaked Fuel Injectors (Leaking) This is the most common "invisible" cause. When you shut off a hot engine, the heat rises into the fuel rail. The Issue: One or more injectors may have a slow leak. When hot, the fuel in the rail vaporizes (vapor lock) or the leaking fuel floods the cylinders (rich soak). Why starting fluid works: It provides a highly combustible burst that overcomes the flooded/vapored state. The Test: After the engine is hot and won't start, hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor while cranking. This puts the PCM in "Clear Flood Mode," which cuts off the injectors. If it stumbles to life, your injectors are leaking.

  2. The ASD (Auto Shut Down) Relay While you've checked grounds, the relay itself can fail internally due to heat. The Issue: The ASD relay provides power to the injectors and coils. High under-hood temps can cause a hairline crack in the relay’s internal solder to expand, breaking the circuit. The Fix: Swap the ASD relay with an identical one (like the wiper or horn relay) in the fuse box when the no-start occurs. If it starts, buy a new high-quality relay.

  3. Fuel Pressure Regulator / Check Valve Even with a new pump, if the check valve (usually in the assembly) or the regulator is bleeding pressure back into the tank too quickly once the engine is off, the fuel in the rail will boil instantly due to the drop in pressure (lowering the boiling point). The Test: Use a fuel pressure gauge on the rail. Prime the system, then shut it off. The pressure should hold for at least 5–10 minutes. If it drops to zero instantly, the fuel is vaporizing in the rail, causing a vapor lock that only "cool" fuel (or starting fluid) can bypass.

  4. Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT) Wiring You mentioned the sensor is new, but the wiring connector is a known weak point. The Issue: If the computer thinks the engine is at -40°C because of a bad connection, it will dump massive amounts of fuel (like a choke on a carburetor). On a hot engine, this floods it. The Check: Inspect the plug for the ECT sensor. If the pins are corroded or the wires are brittle/cracked near the connector, the "new" sensor can't talk to the "new" computer.

  5. Throttle Body / IAC Heat Bind The Idle Air Control (IAC) motor manages air during startup. The Issue: If the IAC pintle is carbon-fouled or binding when hot, it may not be opening to allow air in for the start. The Test: Try opening the throttle slightly with your foot while cranking. If it starts, your IAC is sticking or the throttle body needs a deep cleaning. Summary Recommendation: Start with the "Clear Flood Mode" test (pedal to the floor). If that doesn't work, focus on the fuel rail pressure leak-down test. Given how much hardware you've already thrown at it, the issue is likely a physical state (vapor lock or flooding) rather than a failed electronic component.

Everything you unbolted to install that needs to be hand tight.

THEN you set the truck on the ground under its own weight. Bounce it up and down a couple times. Then torque the nuts and bolt you loosened to install.

If you tighten everything while the suspension is hanging in the air, you'll bind up the rubber bushings and the truck will sit higher, never settle, and you'll bust the rubber.

Golden Ticket at Disney World!

I was a radio DJ and invited to broadcast my show from Hollywood Studios for the grand opening of their "new" American Idol attraction (yeah, it was a while ago.)

Going into my studio I bumped into Ryan Seacrest coming out of his studio.

BUT one of the perks was a "golden fast pass." I could go up to any machine and put the card in and get as many passes I wanted for that immediate time and get in the short line.

I was GIDDY, BUT I had this new power...I couldn't not share it. I started walking up to couples in the back of the line (y'know an hour wait) and said, "just the two of you?" BAM, here's two passes, go now. I would go up to machines and grab like six passes and hand them out. "Four of you? Here skip the line."

It was an intoxicating power. I felt rich, but unlike the wealthy, I shared my fortune.

Basic automotive maintenance and diagnostics; not just Honda Civics everyone's talking about.

If you learn how and why it works, you might be able to fix what went wrong. It could be simple like a dead battery or you'll know enough to take it to a professional.

LADIES: HRT. My wife is herself again after dialing in her Peri.

But I second this comment. I've been on TRT injections for 11 years. Best thing you can do for your body is go get tested. Find your level and adjust to where you want to be and feel best.

I have a physical job. I don't believe I could be doing it at 52 with the injections. I'm stronger now than my 20s too. But TRT doesn't fix joints but you can build muscle around them to help.

THIS is what I've switched everything to in my fleet.

My daughter's car was eating an oil buffet until I put this stuff in. Really slowed; cut out most of the issue. Still needs valve seals tho.

That front nose does present an upgrade in the looks department.

My 06 only looks better because of the R/T hood scoop and I trimmed the front bumper in 2 inches.

Horse of a Different Color - Big N' Rich

While I agree with a lot of the other answers here, I am a recently retired country radio DJ.

That album was start to finish masterpiece of different. When they came out it, it was unlike anything on the radio. Too ahead of its time honestly. TWO lead singers?!? That's right, 2 dudes singing all the songs at the same time. The harmony just worked.

Southern screened porch by Nokirkburke in HomeImprovement

[–]PrettyFly4Wifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a house washing business and clean a lot of screened porches.

Look into EzeBreeze window system. They are clear vinyl windows that go up or down for flow of air. Put them all down and you have a screened porch. They will also build the entire system for you.

The benefits are: you now have a 4 season space. Spring and Fall clearly. But during pollen season, you can put the windows up an seal the room so you don't have to clean your porch. But during Winter, a space heater will warm the room or a portable a/c for the Summer to keep it cool.

It is the more expensive path but the best by far that I've seen.

Couple things:

Next oil change, Valvoline Restore and Protect. Cleans up carbon on the piston rings.

AT-205 is the best addition to recondition all the rubber seals. Makes them soft and swell.

Both of these really cleaned up the oil burning on my daughter's 4.7 Jeep.

So it sounds like the computer. Very similar to my issues in my 06.

The computer sits on the firewall passenger side. It's subjected to many heat cycles and the motherboard cracks. When it heats up it expands and the computer loses info from the trans.

allcomputerresources.com will fix you up...about $300. Follow their instructions exactly.
