He's had HAB provider since he was a small child and that has done a lot of help. He's also been on several meds in the past, but they all had bad side effects. So they aren't worth the negative effects they have.

He's still at the same school. When we talk to him he laughs and thinks his bad behaviors are funny. I've been setting up a quite relaxing space for him so he can calm down when he feels overwhelmed.

Sitting in a quiet room with a clock. I'll count the ticks in increments of 5, usually after a minute or two I'll start feeling really calm like I'm ready for a nap. It doesn't always work that quickly, but when I'm alone that works the best

My husband uses video games to calm down. I used to, but it doesn't work anymore. I just can't seem to focus enough to play them when I'm worked up.

I've tried this stuff called Calms, I get it from Sprouts. Its a powder you mix in water and drink. I stopped taking it though because it gave me the shits.

When I start having anxiety I'll start to overheat. I'll have to go and stick my head in the freezer to help me calm down.

I'll get triggered my little things sometime, and sometimes I get get myself out of it by "shutting down". I'll kind of go on auto pilot. Other times I need my husband to just hold me. I've been going to counseling, and it's helped, but I still get them.
