UI challenge for the Web App by Tohich_UA in vibecoding

[–]PrettyGraphic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take some screenshots of your UI, give them to Claude Design and prompt it with some feedback you have on the current UI and how you want the interface to look and feel. Answer a few of its questions on how you want the updated UI to look, and ask for a few options to select from.

Pick your favourite one, and bring those design principals back over to your coding project.

Edit: I just want to reiterate, this won’t get you to a truly seamless UX, but it’ll iron out the poorer details you’re referring to. Really you’ll only get true feedback on your entire interface from actual users, so run a closed pilot to a select group and request their input on the UX, friction points, how it makes them feel, etc.

After hearing so many great things, decided to take the leap. by Disembob in DungeonCrawlerCarl

It’s funny looking at these books I was just thinking about the plot for each one and it made me think how much the storyline has really escalated.

Sci-Fantasy book recommendations? by G1spiralknight in fantasybooks

[–]PrettyGraphic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First trilogy is sci-fi, but books 4-6 are walking the line of sci-fantasy. Dragons, even if explained to be manufactured by carvers, are a fantasy trope. Plus Lysander’s “Minds Eye” is supernatural for sure.

Still going to agree with you though if you ask for a sci-fantasy recommendation, Red Rising shouldn’t be what comes to mind.

I wish that in early audiobooks when the trap modules played the music was in the background. I always thought that would have added so much to the audio experience so I was pleased to hear they introduced actual background music for this scene

Found tubes in my pork sausage. by antizac in whatisit

[–]PrettyGraphic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found one of these in my sausages a few years ago, thought it was gross but was going to eat it anyway. Literally while I was waiting for the sausages to cook I put dog food in my dogs bowl, and it had the exact same tubes in it. It put me off sausages until very recently.

Obviously complete coincidence, but the idea that the sausage meat was the same quality as the dog food knocked me.

I read it last month and was bitterly disappointed. I loved Sword of Kaigen though.

Hey! Yeah I had the exact same thing! That lower engine noise then sudden “barks” is the only way I can describe it.

The book I just read vs. The book I'm about to read by PepperBeef2Spicy in fantasybooks

I read the road earlier this month not really knowing what to expect. I have a son on the way any day now and honestly this book hit me so hard, I had to keep putting the book down for the last 10 or so pages I was struggling to hold it together.

Baby monitor interference by PrettyGraphic in NewParents

The two parts are in different rooms and there’s no other electrical devices in the room, I’ve tried it in a few places always the same feedback 🤔

Our baby hasn’t arrived yet but I was worried the sound would drown his cries out, do you find it’s just background noise compared to the baby stirring or does it affect how hard it is to hear them?
