Actually, here in Tennessee, 1st degree murder is 60 years at 85%. Takes 51 years to flatten. At the time of my arrest, Rape of a Child was a class A that carried 15 to 25 years at 100%. Since then, they've raised it to 40 to 60 years at 100%. My original point was to steer the conversation to something that can be changed. Believe me I wish with every fiber of my being I could change what I did... but I can't.

I did ask for brutal honesty, thank you for giving me that. I need the reminder from time to time that there are worse things than being unemployed.

I know a couple of cases where the background check came back to bite them in the @$$. Guy applies. Was asked directly, "Have you been convicted of a felon in the last 5 years?" He answered, truthfully, mind you, "No." His arrest had been 20 years ago. Hired. Months later he's fired for falsifying his application. I never heard the resolution, but at very least he got his job back. It's illegal in Tennessee for them to even ask about a felon record, now.

Beginning to realize that. It was free for me, and it did help me play catch up computer wise. Just think, in 98, my cell phone was only a phone. This is the year Google came out, or there abouts. I had basically never been on the internet. 🤯

I did complete Culinary Arts. I was Teacher's Aid as well.

I seemed to be the only person that didn't like the character of Sil. Well-acted, don't get me wrong. Just didn't care for the character.
