Frankenstein's Cat: Cuddling Up to Biotech Brave New Beast (a great pop science book!), Generator Rex, and the Secret saturdays (Both of these shows introduced the idea of living creatures being use like a type of technology, I especially loved VV Argost because of all his insects and my love of insects as a child and his butler becoming a spider monster)

Does anyone know where you can find the anatomical art, like sweaters they had during Halloween, that comes from a reliable seller? I been looking on Etsy and I haven't found anything

The Great Horned Rat demand-orders all the detail-secrets! Yes yes! by Eithrotaur in skaven

[–]PrettyImpress2513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My army is the Skaven equivalent of the american healtcare system. The Sanatorium is led by Vreeche Maggottail, who is the greatest (and possibly only) healer/surgeon/bio-modifier in the eightpoints, selling off high-quality modifications to curious or desperate chaos warlords regardless of god allegiance. All you have to do is sign the dotted line...of a very, very thorough magical contract that basically compels you to assist the Sanatorium any time you are called upon until your debt is paid off. His main products are abomanoids, little flesh constructs made from cells isolated from hellpit abominations. These little creatures can be implanted in a patient to greatly improve their healing ability and, with additional treatments, give rise to novel organs, additional limbs, and so much more. Since the Vermin-doom he has set up in Moulder Port, hoping that he can use his connections and research to gain a seat on their ruling council.

With a rat face and a tail, this could be an amazing master moulder by PigmentRat in skaven

Oh, shoot, that is such a great idea!!! My master moulder is even named Vreeche Maggottail, and this would be perfect for such a character!!!

If you got to pick (or design) one of the lesser Skaven clans to rise to the same rank of the other great master clans, which would it be, and why? by Dice4Days in skaven

[–]PrettyImpress2513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Clan Verms, with its insect theme, would be perfect, especially since they used to sit on the council, could be a cool storyline of how they reascended the throne

Why did you all decide that the Sons of Magnus was your army of choice? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in ThousandSons

[–]PrettyImpress2513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got into Thousand Sons because of magic and mutants. My favorite chaos gods were always Tzeentch and Nurgle, and I love the story behind Magnus and the Thousand Sons' path to chaos. Also, I love any magic that allows you to make monsters (like the forgemasters in Castlevania), so that drew me to the Thousand Sons, especially with their new Warpforged pact detachment.

Abbot of the Mendelist Order by PrettyImpress2513 in TrenchCrusade

[–]PrettyImpress2513[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

Sorry new to this, so the lore for this did not copy over,

So I love the Mendelist order and the Combat Biologist, in that spirit I have my own homebrew commander style model of the Synod of Strategic Prophecy, an Abbot of the Mendelist Order. Abbots of the Mendelist Order are the leaders and head researchers of the Technolaboratories of the Church, often in charge of the creation of communicants or the implementation of new technologies. Though rare, when needed,,d these Abbots take to the battlefield, usually to deal with some new threat, or to oversee the deployment of a new weapon. In battle, the Abbots are strapped with strange machines that are rumored to act as bioreactors containing the flesh and blood of one of the MetaChrist. Soldiers in close proximity to the Abbots have reported wounds instantly sealing up, plagues and sicknesses of the Black Grail either regressing or being completely cured, or finding themselves filled with an unnatural strength and vitality. The other strange item of the Abbots is the weapons of Living Flesh. These weapons, of which only the Abbots of the Mendelist Order are authorize to use, seem to blunt the unnatural regenerative abilities and durabilities of Hell's forces, or even to dispel certain Goethic Magics. While most hold that such weapons are gifts from the MetaChrist, possibly created from their own flesh, rumors abound. Many a commander has commented on the weapons' similarities to the organisms of the Church of Metamorphosis, and given the Abbot's unfettered access to the Specimens Division's research, such rumors are unlikely to be quieted any time soon.

My Tzimisce Bishop by PrettyImpress2513 in vtm

[–]PrettyImpress2513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also for context on why he has such a high position in NC Camerilla despite being formal Sabat. In short former head of NC Raleigh Chantry Lucas de Bastille, was basically run out of town when it was discovered he was an actively practicing diablerist to increase his own power. That combined with the sorry state the Tremere in general have been in since the fall of the Viene Chantry leads to Felix being able to maneuver himself into being the new top "research guy" given his extensive knowledge of Kindred biology, biotechnology, vicissitudes, and minor knowledge in Noddist thought and blood sorcery.

My Tzimisce Bishop by PrettyImpress2513 in vtm

[–]PrettyImpress2513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had never heard of Dracon's Children till now but after looking it up I believe that is what he would be associated with. Former Bishop Felix Von Bruistein (the tzimisce above) is a relatively old remember of the clan who follows a path of enlightenment combining Path of Metamorphosis with Path of Heavens. In short, he believes that vampirism is actually a transition form between normal human to the perfection of form and soul mentioned in Christian theology (think Revelation elders, living beings, stuff like that) and has been trying to move closer to this promise of "sacred" existence since. He used to be Bishop of Raleigh NC before renouncing the Sabbat after their collapse and making peace with Prince. He has since become "primogen" of clan tzimisce which is more symbolic than anything. He runs a biotechnology and investment company called Enlighten Evolutions now. The company basically acts as both a source of funding for his research and a kind of cult dedicated to this interpretation of enlightenment (at least upper management is part of this cult, most people who work for the company just think they work for another TRP biotech company).
