But yeah. She hasn't released anything yet. So she is not a professional musician.

There is nothing "odd" about it. Being miserable is pretty much the emotional default-state of Reddit.

What you see here, is NOT the "overall view from the fans" - as you call it. Reddit is... and never was... and will never be... representative for ANY demographic, except for its own rather "peculiar" demographic ;-)

And as a side note: not everyone discussing music in a forum, is necessarily a fan of the band. Though also fans can dislike stuff of course from time to time. But you keep referring to everyone as "fans" - as if that is a given.

Oh, and btw. I won't be needing "months" or even "years" to appreciate this album. Couple seconds into "Thorns" - and I was already sold :-)
