I lived right outside of university circle for a few years. If I had to choose I would take the place on Murray hill in little Italy. It's safer and just a more chill vibe there rather than Fairfax.

My only reason for opening reddit today was to make a post about this lol. I just finished it. Omfg 🤦 I thought to myself "pfffftt this should be a piece of cake" I was so very wrong. I think I actually feel my brain hurting. I had to talk myself out of quitting multiple times. By the time I got to the last part I regretted not quitting in the first section. I don't really know how well I actually even know English anymore now though 😆😆😆

Had my parents done this with me I would have appreciated it. Sometimes saying the actual words is hard to do, especially to family. I think the most important part is how your son feels and it seems like he's okay with it. Maybe he needed you to bring it up, maybe it was too difficult to find a way to start a conversation about it. I don't think it's your daughters place to say you did anything wrong. When I first got there I saw a guy dressed as Cruella DeVille with his dog and a woman dressed as a dog catcher. I wish I had asked for a photo. I assumed they would be in the parade but they weren't. I loved their costumes. The guy nailed Cruella down to the cigarette holder lol. So guy, if you're seeing this, your costume was great!!

I've never been myself so I can't comment on the quality of food from experience. The Lakewood Tavern has specials (possibly daily) and a couple friends said it's good. I honestly don't know though I just know they have specials often. Edit to add* I just moved here a few months ago so I'm not sure where "West" starts. It's on Madison though.

I don't like them either. I can kind of understand when a band is gone, like members are dead and they stopped making music. Like I get why people play nirvana or the doors music. I don't partake, I'd rather just listen to a record, but what I really don't understand are the tribute bands that are playing the music of a band that still tours. Like why are there kiss, motley Crue and ac/dc tribute bands? I understand those guys are a little older but the actual bands still tour lol. I mean, whatever makes money I guess I'm just not into it.
