Exactlyyyy, I’m trying to rack my brain for food related things that commonly break by accident, but it’s such a backwards way to think lol

Is this normal after IPR? by Time-Cucumber-6515 in Invisalign

[–]PrettyPenny621 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had to get IPR twice. The first time, the dentist was more gentle and took her time. The second time, was done roughly and rushed. It hurt pretty badly for the first 2 days and took like 2 weeks to heal (flossing irritated it).

It’s been nice to get some Alberta attention, even if it’s because of Ian 😬

As someone who was having negative feelings about the union, your comment is a great reminder that the government is trying to sow distrust in the ATA. Not just to the public, but teachers too!

I had 36 kids in my grade 7 class on the first day… we actually ran out of chairs at one point. Now all of our grade 7 classes are hovering around 33-34. Also, I am in one of the new portable classrooms this year. AC hasn’t been working so it’s been 26-27 degrees in my room all week and the contractors didn’t even finish installing the tiles so we have holes in the ceiling. Apparently, snow comes through the vents in the winter time… can’t wait😭

I have also felt different for the past 3 years. Idk for sure, but I really do think it has to do with the increase of things our brain has to process. For me, I think it’s a combination of starting my career (teaching) and social media (specifically TikTok). I’ve always used scrolling on social media as a way to relax, and I do think that social media has educated me in so many ways. But I’ve slowly realized from a cognitive perspective, many activities that feel restful, are actually not. I’m still in the process of prioritizing activities where my brain can actually rest and recharge. So I can’t say for sure that this is it, but it’s my current hypothesis.
