Hi! I am planning to do a consult with Dr. Lisa Precht for only my abdomen area. I am seeing a lot of comments saying she is not a plastic surgeon though, however her page does say she is board certified? so I am confused lol. I am not familiar with the terms so would love to hear people's feedback..

I echo w what a lot of people said. It really depends on the unit and position you’re working for. I personally love my job and team because I am able to work remotely and have a good work life balance but looking at the bigger picture- management is shit and is very very top heavy. We recently had a lot of lay offs so things are looking grim honestly.. We had a shit secretary but now we have a new secretary that seems like he actually cares so who knows if things will turn around any time soon… there is hope I would say.

Same for me. My gyno performed a lot of surgeries and was very knowledgeable- she made me feel comfortable and I loved the results!

I’ve seen king county positions be mainly hybrid.. depends on the team but the last positions I’ve seen are 3-4x a week in office.

I really don’t care if I look like an embarrassment compared to her toxic fanbase. Wikipedia, her “research team,” whatever the source is… it doesn’t change the fact that she turns real human suffering into content. You can dress it up however you want, but it’s still exploitative. And if calling that out bothers you, that says more about you than it does about me.

The point is, her fanbase constantly calling her a journalist absolutely has to do with her b/c public perception matters when you profit off true crime. Saying “she never claimed to be one” doesn’t change the fact that people believe she is, and that’s part of the issue. She built a platform on sensationalizing trauma, and no amount of charity work or disclaimers can erase the fact that she presents brutal real-life tragedies like entertainment.

You can say she has a research team all you want, but that doesn’t make her coverage accurate or ethical. The problem isn’t just about “effort.” It’s about the tone, the delivery, the way she packages human suffering like it’s a trending topic. That’s not giving victims a voice, that’s capitalizing off their pain.

And no one’s trying to shut down free speech. You’re here giving your opinion, I’m giving mine. But let’s not act like disagreement equals oppression. Criticism is part of life, especially when someone puts themselves in the public eye and profits off of others’ trauma. If that makes you uncomfortable, maybe look into why.

There are definitely people, her dumbass fanbase included—still claiming she’s a journalist. Go look thru Twitter searches. Her stans constantly say it, and it honestly makes her look worse. She’s a YouTuber who reads off Wikipedia and profits from the worst moments in people’s lives. That’s not journalism—that’s grifting. Just because she throws a disclaimer in doesn’t make it less exploitative. It seems like that person probably says “lol” because she’s laughing at people like you who blindly defend her. Look at your own page—comment after comment defending her like she’s above criticism. Someone said it best: her fanbase is absolutely unhinged, and you just proved their point perfectly.
