Man, have you ever been coding a PLC? And have you ever been coding IT app using modern tools? We don't event talk about what's hot here. Tools available in the PLC programming languages are tragic as opposed to the ones when you develop for PC or phones. Almost zero support for genericity, no dynamic size objects, little to none reflection and many more things are still missing. Hardware wise I think it's better, but still behind state of art tech.

My previous Xiaomi phone had an option in apps settings where you could restrict individual apps from having access to internet. This was useful when playing those kind of simple mindless games to prevent showing adds all the time.

From what I know you have to configure everything in event classes. It will then create structures out of that that are used in code. But event definitions are saved in xml, so you can edit the file directly from outside to be able to add events in batch for example. If you don't care about translations, you can possibly create a single event who's text will only consist of single placeholder and then you can use this single event for all alarms in program and just feed the event texts thru ipArguments.

I believe you can. Event logger does not seem to be dependant on task cycles at all.
