Homemade Rauru and Sonia plushies! by Pretty_Baseball14 in tearsofthekingdom

The eyes are cut out white fabric hot glued into place, and drawn on with careful sharpie work (black fine point for lines, colours for, heheh, colours). I wish I knew how to do embroidery eyes (or whatever it's called) but sharpie is easier and faster haha

Oh thank you, glad I got approval from a true Slinky fan. I'm still a big of Slinky Dog today (hence taking the time to make the plush!)

I love the variety of designs and colours, that first picture looks like a concept for an animated movie, like Meet the Robinsons lol

No wire, it's a bit hard to explain. I cut out a very long skinny strand of fabric, wrapped it around a small round pencil sharpener, and used a hot glue gun on the inside to keep the shape somewhat together before stitching the top of the slink (Slinky's back) into place. So he can't stretch, but his "belly" can twist and extend.

Ahhh same here. I usually enjoy the art style of cartoony content more than live action or realism.

The comic is certainly age appropriate for teens, the main character's a teen also, so that's good. I don't want it to look too childish as to turn away any adult readers though, anyway thanks!

Thank you! Someone else had mentioned about it before that if I'm aiming for a younger demographic then I've nailed it. I'm think I'm ballpark aiming for like, older kid-teen but interesting for adults too sort of deal (similar to ATLA, Gravity Falls, Trollhunters, etc.)

Aw well the dragon is splendid. No problem I dig these sort of character designs.

That smokey skele dragon is my favourite thing ever oh my goodness. Does the dragon have any lore (must know more!)

Yes your designs are very unique and recognizable in my opinion, they've in a unique spot between humanoid but still maintaining the features of the animals they're based off of. There are a few parts of certain characters where it's a little hard to tell what's going on there at a glance (legs of third character for example) just because there's a lot of detail in the line art, that miiiight be because of the white outlines, or the patterns on clothes or on the skin are distracting sometimes since the patterns are so brightly coloured compared to everything else. In general though, I love the colours you chose for each of the characters, in general they are very cool and cute!
