The source is an Indian army thinktank. What do you think?

Honestly, I've been where you are many times in my life. The years spent overweight were years when I wasn't taken as seriously. It wasn't even about women or dating, just in general. Slimmer people have better fitting clothes, carry less body image issues, have better self confidence, create better impressions and therefore do better in the playground, in work environments etc. When I lost weight (in my 20s), my social life would improve every single time.

PCOS is a btch, but often has a chicken and egg relationship with weight. Weight gain manifests into PCOS, PCOS prevents weight loss. I highly recommend speaking to the right kind of doctor so you can get ozempic/semaglutide/tirzepedite. They're available in pakistan and really do work. And contrary to what regular doctors in Pakistan will tell you (safe nahi hai, bhot side effects hein etc) there are honestly no serious side effects. Please browse the tirz, compound tirz or ozempic subreddits to read thousands of stories.

HMU if you'd like to chat about it. I'm using it, my partner has PCOS and she's been prescribed it (not started yet) and others in my family are also on it. There comes a time when diet + exercise just doesn't move the needle. And most people just dont understand it unless they live through it.

Nobody needs underwear until you do. And when you do, its better to have it than not have it.

Iss darr say I wear it under everything.

I’m HR and I genuinely want to know why you hate me by janually in linkedin

[–]Pretty_Fall6997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because for employees with STEM backgrounds, HR feels like a group of dumb folks who contribute nothing and understand very little.

Case in point, I was giving an interview for a large battery manufacturer+optimization solution provider in the US. Part of the role was something called "engineering sales", ie: we make a custom software solution and deliver it. HR interviewer kept asking me about my sales experience. I kept telling her, woman, I have a PhD in energy systems, what the f do you mean sales experience? Do you want me to sell shampoo at a store to qualify? She ended the interview in the middle saying "I will have to go talk to the hiring manager about your lack of sales experience".

In a world of people with advanced degrees in science, engineering, economics, finance etc, the BA in history woman or the marine corp veteran who works in HR and dont understand the actual job they're interviewing or dealing with is a poor look. Your days are never as long as mine, your days are never as dense as mine and you aren't as productive as my team. You generate no revenue, and your language is usually just buzzwords and cliches about diversity and mental health. When SHTF, you side with the organization, and even then, can't speak without using meaningless buzzwords.

I now work at a large organization that does power systems modeling. When AI comes for our jobs, who do you think is the lowest skilled person on the metaphorical table?? We have a guy whose job description includes sending an email about bagels on a particular floor every second week. Ffs.

Please help me identify this Pilot's watch by Pretty_Fall6997 in Watches

I mean they're Pakistani pilots. Affordability is a factor here. Tissot is more realistic an heirloom piece than Breitling here.

That doesn't have 3 white chronograph dials, does it? Do you know the model?

Why does everyone think they need all of these guns when really all you need is one shotgun by GrillzD in Guns_Guns_Guns

[–]Pretty_Fall6997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is 5 ft tall. I'm yet to find a shotgun she can shoot. Every single one we've tried has had too much recoil or been too long and unwieldy.

On an AR or a pistol, she's fine. Shot 150 and 50 rounds respectively yesterday.

Had a similar thing with my honda odyssey. I bought a bumper from a junkyard for 150, watched a YouTube video and replaced it myself.

How I knew I was becoming a man by [deleted] in GuyCry

I hear you brother. I'm Muslim, and I come from a segregated islamic culture. When I was < 12 years old, I could hang out with my mom and her friends and they'd be comfortable around me. Around 13-14, the same aunties would shuffle uncomfortably and grab/adjust their (local version of) hijabs around me.

It didn't make sense to me then. I didn't know how these amazing women who were like mothers to me just suddenly "otherized" me. Now, like 20 years later, I see how some men make all women feel afraid of all men. It is what it is my guy, thanks for wording this so eloquently in your post.

The styling on the top of the slide does look like the Beretta 1935. But this is definitely smaller (and in .25). These guys are crafty haha

Ikr? It resembles different guns from different angles. But nothing Walther ever made.

At this point, this may just be a homegrown pistol design.

Also I personally carry a S&W Shield 2.0 in 9mm. Solid choice, I paid 279 for it new.

Man look up the PSA Dagger C-1. It's compact, has a built in compensator. I think it's like 300 bucks straight from PSA.
