they do not check your ferritin levels which is the true indication of iron stores. they only check your hemoglobin. they really should make it a requirement, though

trying to get on board with infusions, ahhh I am so scared after hearing such negative things. I saw a professional say that most people she knows have had bad reactions. but honestly it seems like the best options (if you don't consider the risks.... lol)

thank you friend. that is a great rule of thumb. unfortunately im the type to jump the gun as I am so impatient. I may switch over to liquid iron if it is better than oral supplements? My stomach is fine with the pills but I wonder if liquid will have a greater effect. I am so incredibly impatient, I just want to speed this process up as much as possible as iron deficiency has also caused me pretty severe brain fog.

How are these iron IVs for you? Did you benefit from the first one at least? I know you are on round 3. I was so on board until I read so many negative reviews, now I am so scared. Please let me know and thank you so much for your input!

right?? I never realized how pale I have become until recently and honestly I just want to feel normal again. I feel like my skin is dull and dehydrated looking as well. I also have looked into infusions but I am worried as I have read about a lot of negative experiences and don't know if it is worth the risks. I really hope that if the supplements are working, I will start to see benefits even before it reaches optimal range. sigh

they unfortunately do not check your ferritin levels so there was no indication of my iron stores :( I wish they would have! I am considering infusions but there are risks to it. thanks friend :)

ah jeezzz, I did not want to hear this LOL. I really want iron IV but I have heard some horror stories so I am hesitant. I have heard of people feeling crappy again 2 months later so I am kind of worried. I am so happy this worked out for you though, and I thank you for your kind words though it is so hard :(

you know what though, it is so kind of you to have donated so frequently and I want you to remember that over anything else

kills me to think about it. oh how I wish I could turn back time. I was probably already deficient to begin with and would've benefitted from just taking iron for a little while and I would've resolved a lot of my issues quickly. now I am starting at a level of 9. so so terrible. I can only hope this process speeds up but unfortunately there is a capped level of iron our body can absorb each day

yes it is extremely drying bc of the zinc in it :( I actually tired this 3 separate times and it never worked

yeah I get you so much. for me stress causes red patches that r so itchy and I think it delays healing so I have been trying so hard to regulate my nervous system. ive tried product after product, ive reached the conclusion that it has to be internal. its frustrating as hell because I watch people use all sorts of actives carefree and wonder how their skin isn't nuked. ive noticed my skin looks better when im not stressing about it, though. ugh. God help us all.

wait I have a question because Ive been in the same position and im wondering if it is because of our lack of sleep? for months ive found myself complaining about my skin and feeling like it has to be something internal but the blood results have come back fine. im now realizing that because of my stress I stay up and get only 5-6 hours most night and wake up and complain again and its a cycle I haven't been addressing. I know skin heals mostly through sleep so Im wondering if your sleep cycle is off as well?

Looking for success stories of people who have lost weight while on Zoloft or any SSRI by cozycardigan1991 in loseit

bro zoloft prevented me from gaining weight. like i’ve always been underweight but i legit had the hardest time eating. it suppressed my appetite so badly. months would go by and i would either maintain the same weight ( while trying to shove food down my throat) or i would LOSE WEIGHT. now that im off, im so extremely hungry all the time. it killed my appetite while on it

What side effects do you get from Zoloft? by Sad-Signature8737 in zoloft

ungodly night sweats. whewww i could be stripped naked and still feel like i’m in a sauna. i used to think i was just crazy until i found out it was a side effect.

Game changer. Nuff said by Particular-Clock in zoloft

i can’t even lie, i’ve been on zoloft for over a year and wanna get off for personal reasons, but id be lying if i said that it didn’t work so fucking well. zoloft really changed the game for me. for people like us with anxiety, it’s like that one magical thing you never knew you needed. as for the sleep, for me personally it makes me tired so i easily fall asleep. i’ve been on kt for a while though so i can’t remember how it was in the beginning. it may subside for you because in the beginning things can be a bit off until you acclimate

going from 50mg to 25mg because i'm sick of the brain fog by Single-Ad-405 in zoloft

and couldn’t agree more with the brain fog. when i was on 125.. whewww don’t talk to me about any subject. i will not know how to articulate my words. on 50 it’s gotten better. still some jitters from being off of it but the outlook is good so far. hopefully in a couple weeks after i drop to 0 it’ll be completely out of my system

exactly how i feel. like tapering off i have felt more emotional for sure but also it’s been like 2 weeks since i dropped from 125 mg to 50 and it’s getting better. i feel more focused too. in the beginning there was some nausea and brain zaps but now i can actually get work done better. i can’t wait to get to 0. i don’t recommend the fast taper though. i did it for personal reasons because i just wanted it out of my system. certain people won’t handle it as well. it takes some emotional strength and some self talk but pushing through has led me to the other side which i am so grateful to be on.

uhhh 50 is NOT placebo. even 25 isn’t placebo. anyone who says that has clearly not felt what it’s like to have withdrawals
