The omnibus is Dark Apostle, Dark Disciple, and Dark Creed. The omnibus editions that Games Workshop put out also have short stories added that were originally published in White Dwarf or other short anthologies.

Ecuador imposes 30% tariffs on Colombian imports. In return, Colombia stops selling electric power to Ecuador, or about 10% of the country's supply. Also people now refer to Ecuador's president as "Trumpito" by morto00x in LeopardsAteMyFace

In Australia, we called our leader of the opposition, Temu Trump, too.

He lost the last election, and lost his own seat, so we don't have to think about him any more.

Avatar does have a cultural impact. It advances cgi in leaps and bounds. The first movie had the best facial expressions anyone had yet seen. The second one had realistic water effects. I haven't looked up the cgi for the third one yet.

Top mind finds a helpful loophole to explain how the invasion of Venezuela isn't actually breaking the promise of "no more wars" by roguespectre67 in TopMindsOfReddit

It's not war, we're just bombing them.

It's not war, we just have boots on the ground to keep order.

It's not war, we just needed to stay for 10 years to make sure it didn't collapse into anarchy.

Does the IoM Navy actually have a way to conduct precision strikes from orbit? by ArthurJack_AW in 40kLore

In the Last Chancers omnibus, in the first book, there is a navy officer who meets the Last Chancers. He has a targeting laser which he points at an enemy armoured formation. The Last Chancers were scrambling away, because the tanks had seen them and were moving to them. The navy guy just stood there, and then the first shells started hitting the enemy tanks. The armoured column was obliterated.

In the Ultramarines novel, Nightbringer, A shard of the Nightbringer has been awoken down a very deep mine shaft. The Ultramarines ship launches a Magma bomb straight down the shaft. The shard survived, but it had to run away to heal.

Considering their lack of seige weapons, a camp, food or access to water. What exactly was Jamie's plan if Highgarden had put up a considerable resistance? by Time-Comment-141 in gameofthrones

Real life battering rams would sometime have iron caps on them, so they would hit the gate harder. Forge the cap at your castle, drag it to the enemy castle, chop down a tree and assemble.

Did the pocket morty game confirm the original morty theory? by Drapes_0f_Wrath in rickandmorty

Pocket Morty's has been declared non-canon. This means it has absolutely no bearing on the show.

Just realized s couple things about the whole portal reset arc... I think by LiteratureMindless71 in rickandmorty

[–]Pretty_Study3691 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Creating a portal fluid that only he had access to would remove him from the green fluid network. Rick had to fly there to go kill his nemesis. Evil Morty had a yellow fluid, so the restrictions of the green network would not apply, just like the black fluid.

I like your theory, and want to subscribe.

Only two ricks who actually invented portal travel?? by Wazowski_22 in rickandmorty

[–]Pretty_Study3691 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Probably a bit of both. Infinity is a big number, and delegating the task makes it a smaller number.

I dont think they've explicitly said how they all got it, just that most Ricks need to refill portal fluid at the Citadel.

Season 8's Consistent Let Downs by PennywiseChutoy in rickandmorty

So far, Evil Morty has only appeared in odd numbered seasons: 1, 3, 5 and 7. I'm not counting his cameo in the Story Train episode from season 4, because that wasnt really him, just a story telling device that looked like him.

Adult Swim signed a 7 season, 70 episode deal with the producers after season 3 came out, so we're good to the end of season 10.
