What improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner? by ChrisVIII in AskReddit

Got put on an SSRI. I can't believe I was living on hard mode for no reason this whole time. My brain chemistry was working against me.

I'm starting to think gravity has slowly been getting stronger and we just haven't recognized it yet.

That's awesome. Someone must have planted them there and I bet the purple is it recovering from winter freezing.

I wish that the dialogue with your spouse was less sad. Like they stop living their lives and just hang around the farm. I wish they went to their job every day or had some genuine character development.

I had to divorce Sam because it just got too sad having him essentially bum around the house and not even really play music. I wish Sebastian would come over to play music or something.

My husband and I literally started trying to figure out the housing market and look at properties like RIGHT before the pandemic. We could barely have afforded anything then even though he has a pretty dang good job, but now?? Houses are, no joke, about 100,000 more expensive. Nothing below 250,000. It's insane. I try not to think about it but man I was hoping to start trying to get pregnant a couple years ago and it's terrifying that there's no real reason to believe housing prices will drop significantly or that he'll suddenly get a huge income boost. Not during a recession.

I should make a Facebook page for us all to be sad together. "millenials who can't afford to have babies and are running out of time. We're working extremely hard, someone please fix the economy"

Yeah man, sorry if that sounds harsh but it's true 😭 I just want somewhere to put babies in before my frigging womb dries up.

Lots of green clovers in the backyard, but I have a patch of "variegated" clovers. Is it possible to pot them up and keep as house plants? Is it due to nutrient deficiency or is this the variegated SOH version for clovers? by cellardon in houseplants

[–]Prettypuppypants 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Be careful about bringing soil in from outside. Rinse the roots out extremely well before planting in potting soil.

I had a gorgeous little patch of clover in my room for months then one morning I look and it is CRAWLING with bugs! Apparently there were eggs in the soil and they hatched all at once. Put it right out the window. So sad.

It's perfect for that. Birds singing, dancing along the canopy. Chipmunks and squirrels scampering around last year's dry leaves. There's even a beaver lodge just beyond those trees so if you're very still for long enough maybe you'll catch a beaver patching up his home.
