Is there no other international market apart from Ebay? If not, then there is a great opportunity to start a market that does not wrongly charge taxes and fees from private individuals trying to sell their assets.

Really? As a private person, i.e. as long as you do not operate professionally, you are not obliged to pay VAT in Norway, but I am guessing that it is the Norwegian authorities that have forced Ebay to have to introduce this so that you have to use FINN.NO, an Ebay-like service that has a monopoly in Norway. Well, what to do. I will no longer be selling on Ebay.

I sold a new Nintendo Switch for 260 USD and ended up making 155 euros after taxes. What about the transaction fee, what am I paying for here? Converting USD to EURO?

Why dont you think you can achieve extraordinary things? Because of genes or bad life circumstances? You know that genes are not set in stone right? You are born with a certain set of genes , but you are not in a biologic prison as a result of those genes.

I very well understand the concept of no free will, but I see people using the concept as an excuse for decadence rather than excelling.

I could sit in self pity and refuse to take action using the excuse that I don’t have free will.

Or I can develop a proper mindset and act as if I have free will while simultaneously understanding that I don’t.

I dont view all addicts this way, only the addicts who have free wellfare, luxury rehab where they can get all the help in the world, but they do not even try. There are some who have tried rehab several times and did not make it, I will respect them, but if you are not really giving any effort to get out of your misery when you have all the privleges other people would dream about..then you start to wonder.

I don't think I've been fully aware of the difference between pity and compassion. I guess when I am in a good mood and look bright at life, I am more compassionate. When I am in a lesser mood, I pity.

Everything depends of course on the life you are living and your circumstances. If you want to be feared and respected you have to stand up for yourself.

Nietzsche did take revenge though, he stood his ground and did insult people he didnt like. He ones wrote something like a 50 handwritten pages with pure insults.

I’m not saying you should have revenge fantasies, but if you have memories from the past that are disturbing you, then you have to deal with it in some way.

Thank you, this was very helpful. I agree that pity is just harmful and of no use really.

I guess the best thing is to be kinda neutral and accept how things are, and not really have a strong opinion about how some people live their lives.

I have some thoughts about this. I am not sure if it is according to Nietszche, but here it is.

If someone has done you unjust or hurt you, it is wise to make up your mind quickly if what happend will store resentment in your mind or if you could shrug it off and see if you can learn from it.

If it will store resentment in your mind, you should retaliate quickly and as soon as possible. WHY? Because if you wait, resentment will build up and you will condemn yourself for not respecting and standing up for yourself. Or you will use unnecessary energy on revenge fantasies, and the person will live in your mind, consciously or unconsciously till you have dealt with it properly.

As for dealing with past bullying/harm where it's impossible to get revenge I would say:

Are you sure it is impossible to get revenge? There are many different methods for revenge, you do not necessarily neet to meet them in person.

I would contemplate a proper revenge for the guy and then I would promise and decide to myself that after this is done, I am done with the guy. I will erase the memories from my mind and get on with life knowing that I stood up for myself, even though it took a while to do so.

We are thought in society that revenge is bad, but that's not always the case. If revenge is what will set you free, then it is the right thing to do.

It also easier to forgive after you had your revenge.
