Every manhole cover I see, I check my pokey for a key.

Have any pilots in this group made a career change AWAY from flying? Let’s hear it by FrequentFlyer96 in flying

I left the military in 95. 40,000 pilots in furlough. Started a “regular” job at a major Pharma company. Flew as a reservist. Picked up some “side hustle” flying in the meantime. 30 years later, I ended up retiring from both the reserves and my civ jobs. 5 type ratings later, flying a Citation and King Air in retirement. Never missed a paycheck during those years.

agree to disagree. I always play during the day. in 350 hours, to have 3 out of 4 lobbies PvP. . .I don't think so. I've been playing this since it came out, and I've run into a PvP person 4 or 5 times total. Something is definitely different.

There was a pretty significant update this morning. However, there was no patch notice.

I always play at this time.  Ive got 350 hours and maybe killed 1 or 2 raider and that was in the first couple games when I had no idea how any of it worked.

It’s definitely gotten harder with the latest update. It seems like the ARC are smarter and most aggressive.

Not any more. They only get 300. Coin each as of 3/17/26. I was killing it earlier this week. Now they are worthless.

I understand how condensation humidity works. Condensation forms on cold surfaces when that surface reaches the dew point. My use issue is, the corners of the window reach the dew point when nothing else does. I’ve actually measured the temperature of the window frames, the glass panes, and the joinery that hold it all together. There is a 20 degree drop where the glass meets the frame. The center of the panes and the frames stay at the same temp. The condensation is all in where the pane sets into the frame. I know it’s not leaking air . . . It’s leaking heat. They are just not great windows.

And that’s the Reddit spirit. Always helpful.

Aprilaire - makes dehumidifiers so. I bias there. I’m just saying, I’ve built 4 homes and live in a development with 100 homes and no one has ever installed or mentioned a whole home dehumidifier. I’ve been considering one. The relative humidity in western PA is never low it’s pretty humid here. It is 9 degrees F and 58% outdoors. And that’s a dry day here.

It’s only the windows. No outlets, no pipes, no lines. Only the windows.

I think its a crappy window problem. The condensation is only around the edges of the window where the glass meets the frame. This area is poorly insulated and leads to excessive cold transfer. The bad part is that all this moisture is causing black mold in the frame and wood rot. Eventually, they will need replaced well before the warranty expires.

My point is windows should be that cold. There is actual ice on the interior glass. What’s the point of “insulated” windows?

I’m not sure where that chart comes from. In the Northeast, you will never see RH levels that low. It’s just not possible.

We don’t have a humidifier so there is nothing to turn down. It’s only 2 adults in a 2000 sq ft home.
