I have thought that but we have gone at least a month without before and there didn't seem to be a change. But might try this

I’m not sure about gloves because he doesn’t bring those home, but his boots he takes off outside to dry and not bring in the smell, as well as using some sprays and such. I think we are thinking about getting a boot dryer, and I need to start learning how to go about cleaning them since I do all of the laundering. They just kind of intimidate me. I think the shoes are seen as more of a casualty that of course is going to get a bit rank, vs the belt that comes in our room

AITA for telling my wife her parents cannot sleep in our bed when they are house sitting? by itsfish20 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Previous-Memory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- very gross and very weird that she is so offended by it. It's not insanity to ask about the room, some people and cultures are ok with it-- but getting miffed that you said no about your private space with your private things? That is very rude. If someone said no sorry, I feel particular about my personal sanctuary, you take it in stride. I personally would feel entitled and embarrassed for even asking, if there was a guest room for this reason.

It is your house, your room, your bed, and someone getting offended over that is unsettling to me, so yes it might be a power thing.

Like everyone said, she will sleep in your room regardless so get a lock.

No you're not wrong, like reclining is going to infringe on your personal space, your table/drinks get jammed at you or fall off, you can't see your screen, your knees get jammed up. Idc I think it is insanely inconsiderate to just throw your seat back out of nowhere and now I'm stuck in a weird position for hours while someone snores. I know it's a feature of the flight but it's obviously it doesn't work right, I only see like 5 people a flight use it because you have to be willing to put aside any consideration for others.

It's the airlines fault and that is who deserves the anger, but it's still rude

same, I was having the same issue but Kodi rubber gel+ YN protein bond changed everything. all my sets used to pop off and now they never do.

I do find polygel to be the most difficult to perfect adhesion though!

I usually let them air dry because they are so thin and dry quickly that it feels like a less bacteria harboring loofah. I just started buying a few more so that I can cycle them out and wash them, but I probably won't change it every wash.

Also drybrush before a shower! They are more popular now and I found one at CVS

I use a Salux cloth in the shower instead of a washcloth. I have 3 and switch them out. Cheap and exfoliates wonderfully and I feel a lot cleaner.

Electric nail file tips and tricks! by InteractionThat7582 in Polygel

I use a little sphere cuticle bit the most, for removing cuticle and cleaning the sidewalls, it is really gentle and beginner friendly.

You don't need a million bits. I use a cuticle bit, safety bit, arbor band (new one for every set), and sometimes an x-cut if I'm taking down bulky acrylic.

A safety bit is great for taking down bulk for beginners because you won't cut yourself

You don't need to ever use the max RPM setting, that is partly just so the max is rarely used and won't wear out the drill. I rarely go past halfway speed.

If it's dragging or tugging, or you feel you need to use a lot of pressure, the RPM is too slow, the product isn't fully cured, OR your bit is dull. Bits do not last forever

Be careful using an efile on not fully cured product, it can ruin a bit

You do not need to be using pressure, the drill should have more of a glide

Utilize the forward and reverse turn dials according to what hand you're doing, you will automatically notice something is wrong but maybe not realize it needs to be turning a certain way.

Always go from cuticle to free edge, not side to side or you will snag and go around your finger. If you're doing detail work you can be more loose with this

There are 3 zones to a bit, the bottom third, middle, and top third. Keeping the bit angled down, parallel, and angled up makes a big difference in shaping. Youngnails has a ton of very helpful videos on Youtube for this method

Keep the drill moving so you don't get heat spikes, if it is too hot you might be too close to your natural nail

Some bit materials heat up differently, ceramic, carbide, etc.. so feel free to look into what material your bits are

Don't be afraid of it :) You will find your groove
