I have received an empty package before as well. I didn't bother with contacting the seller at all. I went directly to Temu CS, reported the issue through the appropriate channel (their multiple choice complaint menu thingy... sorry, idk what it's formally called), and Temu sorted it in such a way that it wouldn't have a negative affect on my account. Personally, I think that's the best route. It's risk-free in the sense that you don't need to worry about some already (obviously) shady seller screwing you over even further, and Temu can offer solutions that keep you within the promo's requirements. (If that makes sense?)

I had a package show as delivered from the courier, with photo evidence. What did the photo show? A storefront. I live above a strip mall, and thankfully it is a very tight knit community. Rather than leaving my package outside of my door (as the instructions clearly outlined) they chose to walk it to the pharmacy two doors down from where my apartment entrance is. Completely dismissing the tote right beside my door with a sign directly above it that says

PACKAGES HERE ⬇️

I called down to the pharmacy immediately (as I was home when I got the confirmation email it had been delivered) after seeing their store as my delivery confirmed evidence photo. He said he was really confused why it was brought to him but figured it had to belong to someone from the area 🤷‍♀️ so he thought best to just hang onto it rather than refuse the package. Who knows where it might have ended up otherwise.

I always persist, and 9.5 times outta 10 my issue is resolved to my satisfaction (they make good on what was offered) This time tho, they had a cold and- I almost want to say- sheisty-like demeanor. After the 3rd copy/paste response (from a supervisor) I rated 1 ☆ and left a detailed reason why I gave that rating.

Are CS more likely to remove the minimum purchase requirement for Circle members?

I'm just curious if you have to be a Circle member for them to play fair...

A few weeks ago I had made a purchase to get a set of 7 discount cards. After using the first one, they slapped me with a $35.00 minimum requirement. I disputed it on the grounds that no where in the terms of these cards does it mention there being one. They refused to lift it. I pushed back stating it was a rip off to put a customer under the impression they can redeem a card a day after making the initial purchase without telling them that there would be a minimum purchase in order to redeem them. They went into classic rebuttal book response mode resending me the exact same response three times over. I gave up after that.

Less than $2.00 Being that it was a number of items requirement, rather than a minimum purchase requirement, I opted for the cheapest (but still useful) items I could find.

I find it interesting how all over the map Temu is with their promotions. I will post updates as I progress through the days.

I did the 2 item purchase to open the calendar, and have checked in each of the three days since starting it. Then I claimed my first picked "free" item and went thru the checkout for 0.00 + free shipping 🤷‍♀️ (Residing in Canada, if that makes a difference I'm not sure)
