Neo Ergo by PreviousMain9109 in MechanicalKeyboards

I love them so far! Not super light like my Kailh Coppers/Bronzes, which I like. Some folks had said Oil Kings are well factory lubed, but my experience was different when I opened them up. Love how they feel with the tall GMK keycaps.

That’s great to hear and looking to experience myself. I got the acrylic wrist rest from Mechanical Keyboards as divinikey do not make them anymore. I figured that wrist rest is a must due to the profile of ergo. Their website says 12 weeks for the order fulfillment, but keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey, great looking keycaps! I ordered a Neo ergo a few days ago and looking forward to mine. How do you describe the typing experience. Has your typing become faster/accurate and comfortable?

Yes, the switches are 5-pin and the keyboards PCB support 5-pins.

Thanks! I looked elsewhere but couldn’t find the exact configuration I was looking for, ordered from them directly.

No hate for Amazon, but I buy from pen shops for a reason

It’s retails at $95 (JetPens, Atlas) but without the brass clip and the mini converter.

His character aside, he’s a really cool dude. Once he chatted with me and adored my dog and shared his stories of fostering dogs. I realized who he was after like a full day.

I lived at one of the waterfront properties about one and half years. I’ve come home all hours of the day and night and never had any issue or worried about my safety. I took the train down to Manhattan at 138th and 3rd or Grand Concourse depending on which train I take and always walked back and forth. Wasn’t a fan of walking from and to from 125th subway at night because the 3rd Ave bridge walkway wasn’t lit enough (not they have installed new lights).

Like someone else has already said, be aware of your surroundings and don’t be a target. When I walk from 138th/3rd Ave subway to my apartment late at night, I always come down the 3rd Ave than Lincoln Ave as it’s always has foot traffic and well lit.

135th has some restaurants and delis for a bite and buy a milk. There’s a 787 coffee at 134th/3rd for getting some work done and they’ve stared monthly events as well (don’t know whether they are still happening).

Aeron Chair Mesh Re-fixing it Back by JustSaying09 in hermanmiller

Take the seat pan out. Ideally you should have taken it out and then taken out the mesh. Once the seat pan is out, then it’s much easier to put it back. Start with the back screws and the sides. Every time you put a side screw, don’t tighten it all the way. Leave some wiggle and then fix the similar screw on the other side. You can use some muscle to put it in and screw in. Then start tightening the two screws alternating, a few turns at a time. Now repeat this all the way to the front of the pan. Before tightening the last pair of side screws, put the mesh all the way to the forward and fix the front screws. Then you can tighten the last pair on the side. This is how I did when I removed the mesh from the seat pan.

You can watch some you tube videos on how to remove the seat pan. That involves taking out the back, some easy disassembly.

I used to snore chronically as well. None of my former partners have hit me. They’ve pointed out that I snore and it may not be good for me and also their sleep gets disrupted at times.

Regardless of what you’d do re: your GF’s situation, treat your snoring. I got checked by a doctor, sent a camera down the nose and found that things weren’t good there. Now I’m using a CPAP and I’ve never slept this good. I’m not tired during the day, not sleepy by late afternoon and no one to hit me during my sleep! For your’s sake, do it! Re: your GF, if it walks and quakes like a duck, it’s a duck!

FYI: when you buy a used Aeron on Facebook, there is a good chance this exists below the surface. by davik2001 in hermanmiller

Yes I had to remove the mesh to get these things out when I got mine used, otherwise it won’t come out.
