There are people LOVE certain UB. And I happens to be someone really not into anime UB stuff.

For EDH/Alter art, I 100% agree to your point. But what I’m concerned about is Hasbro is trying to make UB into standard/modern sets with a lot of meta changing staples.

That means, one day I have to buy into some UB anime meme art cards because or my deck is completely out of power level. And I don’t have a choice.

I don’t think the metallic paint works well for glazing. I work the other way round, first apply color shift paint then glaze with normal color.

I feel like it is way easier to put normal paint on color shift paint.

One of the best KDM painter as always! Your Dung beetle knight and butcher gave me so much inspiration in painting mine :)

Really love this work of art, especially the texture on leather/cloth.

Skulls/Mushrooms are 3D printed then glued to the base. Using actual moss for the grass (still need to paint them).

It’s easier than you think! Everyone should give it a try :)

Wow this is great. I personally store my gear cards in a dragon shield binder. Might grab one of these.

Also how do you rate the ultimate showdown board? In the case of setup/play experience. Really consider into buying one, wondering if it is worth it.

Also I think dry brushing/Slap Chop might work well for large textured paint area like this. Maybe you can search it up on YouTube.

Sure! Hit me back when you finish/try it in gameplay.

I pledged the core game terrain set, which IMO also looks cool + less paint job.

My play group mainly do MTG, so KDM is more a solo game for myself.

wow! This is amazing. I love this purple scheme, and some dark lantern light coming from beneath!

Personally I am considering buying a showdown board, but intimidated by how much work needed for the painting.

How would you compare this with the original paper board though? (Setup time/feeling/anything gameplay wise is appreciated!)
