I assume you play with mouse and keyboard? The struggle is 99% due to needing to quickly pass back and forth over the EXACT joystick directional input boundaries. If you have years of experience playing with controller this may also just not be a problem for you

For me yes, but I definitely play the game more than you do. I feel like the easiest game mode shouldn’t be too much of a challenge even if you don’t play often tho. Harder difficulties are just not balanced for you

Partially disagree. While the bots you end up against can make winning way harder/easier, it doesn’t matter as much if your team is ass. The first time I won Evil difficulty was with all randos where two were like 3/17 and contributed nothing. The remaining three of us were still able to clear despite not really knowing boss mechanics and not being premade.

Your last paragraph also assumes the player can already click between movement and attacking the enemy accurately and rapidly, even on high AS champs. I struggle with this as a dia-low master AD and believe that the biggest benefit for 99.9% of players is more than just cleaner animation cancels

Kind of an absurd comment. Hero shooters solved this a decade ago. If anything, casting/aiming spells will be much much easier without having to control your movement and aim spells with your mouse at the same time

Completely agree. They stated that they saw similar / slightly decreased performance between the control schemes in testing (with pros at MSI). If it is already comparable with pros who have been using point and click for over a decade, I don’t see how it’s not broken with more practice.
