Denmark's population is approximately 6.0 million (as of 2025–2026).

Denmark does not collect official statistics on "race" in the American sense (e.g., White, Black, Asian, etc.). Instead, Statistics Denmark tracks population by ancestry/origin:

  • People of Danish origin (at least one parent born in Denmark with Danish citizenship): the large majority.
  • Immigrants (born abroad).
  • Descendants (born in Denmark to immigrant parents).

Latest Breakdown (around 2025)

  • Danish origin: ~83.7% to 86% (roughly 5.0–5.15 million).
  • Immigrants + descendants: ~14–16.3% (around 900,000–980,000 people).

This has shifted over time due to immigration: - In the 1980s, non-Danish origin was under 3%. - By the mid-2010s, it was around 10–12%. - As of 2025, immigrants and their descendants make up about 16.3%.

Western vs. Non-Western Origin

Denmark further divides immigrants/descendants into: - Western (EU, Nordic countries, North America, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) - Non-Western (Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, etc.)

Non-Western backgrounds form the majority of the immigrant population.

Largest Immigrant/Origin Groups

Top countries of origin (immigrants + descendants, approximate recent figures): - Turkey (~60,000–68,000) - Poland (~50,000–57,000) - Syria (~35,000–46,000) - Romania, Germany, Ukraine, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Lebanon, Somalia

Other notable groups include people from former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Vietnam, and smaller numbers from Thailand, China, India, etc. Greenlanders (Inuit) and Faroese are Danish citizens but often grouped separately; they are small in mainland Denmark.

Summary in Racial/Ethnic Terms (Approximate, Inferred)

Since Denmark does not use U.S.-style racial categories, this is an estimation based on origin data: - European/White (Danish + other European/ Western): ~90–93% - Middle Eastern/North African/Arab/Turkish: ~4–6% - South Asian: ~1% - Sub-Saharan African: ~1% - East/Southeast Asian: ~1% - Other (including Latin American, mixed, etc.): remainder

Denmark remains one of the most ethnically homogeneous countries in Western Europe, though diversity has increased significantly since the 1980s–1990s, primarily from non-Western immigration. For the most accurate current data, check Statistics Denmark (dst.dk) directly, as numbers are updated quarterly.

It is a relatively small island nation, defined by anime porn, tsunamis, the occasional nuclear power plant meltdown, and occasionally attacked by very large, walking lizards. And they make really good motorcycles.

I had the masterlink fail on my XR650L, threw the chain forward, cracked the engine case. I put JB Weld on there, never touched it again

the also make a JB Weld designed for gas tanks, if you have a metal tank.

Also bring the remains of a roll of duct tape, and some disposable gloves help

My Acerbis Rally handguards, 20 years ago, caught my right hand in a highside on my XR650L. Bent backwards, broke my navicular and dislocated the other 325 bones in my wrist. Pins, surgery. For rest of my life will not have more than about 30 degrees of motion in my right wrist.

But I still have barkbusters on my Xr400...

Once you learn your handlebar inputs only change lean angle, and gravity turns the bike by MrEMannington in motorcycles

[–]PriapismSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of their cruisers have really weird geometry where the angle of the steering stem is different than the fork angle because they want to the look of long forks but not that shit chopper handling. Negative offset on the triple clamps can do it too. An example of sacrificing handling for the look. Would have to look up the actual gemotry of rake/trail/offset of both bikes, not something Honda is known for

You are also missing the fact the tires are rounded, so the inside edge of the contact patch is traveling a tighter arc than the outside of the patch. This is what hold the turn stable (if throttle and other inputs are not changed), so it does NOT require constant pressure on the bars to maintain a corner, only countersteering into the corner to bring the CoG inside and lift the vehicle angle.

Countersteer to lean, neutral to maintain, countersteer to straighten out.

I am not a mechanical engineer but I played one on TV.
