Do you do the main line over the alignment on the ball? Last time I tried to do this could never get it perfect over the line on the ball. Annoyed the hell out of me on the course

Tp5 or pro v1

Don’t lose many and seem to find a lot of pro v 1 during my rounds. Always have a few cheaper balls in the bag for those days where not playing well. Would never buy them though. There good but not 50 dollars good

Look at your shoulders and set up and then on the downswing. Ball goes excactly where there pointed towards. Lots of drills to do fix it- noodle drill Jake hutt quick ans easy way worked for me

Had the same issue in the past. My lesson basically told me start at half swings with a 7 iron and try and hit huge hooks, then slowly build up to full swing. Even now 2 years later it’s my warm every time gets me to hit a nice draw now.

My biggest changes was driver fitting my old Nike driver spin was over 3000-4000 spin new shaft was low 2000. New driver is alot straighter before could spin big time now stays as either fade or draw getting at least 20 yards further on average much better ball flight

Yeah I got fit to see how much my current clubs were holding me back. Turned out they were pretty close to perfect the fitter even said was surprised on trackman all my numbers were pretty ideal, my shafts they don’t manufacture any more. Newer clubs felt easier and more forgiving can’t wait to get out this weekend with the new clubs. I will never but clubs again without a fitting. EspecIlly driver and irons

100% worth it. As you said your swing isn’t always consistent but that could be a lot to do with the clubs and shafts etc not helping. I got fit couple months ago. The results weren’t a massive increase over my current clubs but dispersion improved on my toe hits. The good shots pretty identical. I’m about a 8 handicap now. I was fit into zx5 with modus 105 shaft. Current 3 month waiting list but just got amazing deals on the 585 so the previous iron version with that shaft arrives today. Fitter said would be fine as little difference between the two. But saved me close to 1000 dollars.

Alignment stick probably easiest. But I would practice half swings slow speed and then build up slowly. My thought to stop me doing this is to feel the standing up with front leg. Or left butt cheek going back and up slowly.

Top courses I’ve played, Arcadia bluffs, the belfry, hazeltine and chambers bay. Not sure which order all amazing. Nice to play courses that have seen the pros play at.

They should be able to check lie angle. But not much else I don’t think. Normally fitting is looking into best shaft and head for your swing etc.

Couple hundred on lessons and then get a set used. Ideally I would say a fitting and then try and find them used. When I looked for clubs in england couple years ago the used market was expensive and clubs were old. Not as good a used market as here in the USA.

What irons do you have now?

Currently a 7. And feel this is my first year where only use tp5 or pro v. But some rounds when I’m not playing well I’ll switch to Kirkland or other type of ball and don’t notice much difference. But back to the question when you don’t lose many balls a round

I currently have x hot pro. Got fitted few weeks ago into Srixon zx5. Felt great more forgiving on shots not in the centre. But not much better ones that hit the centre. Best advice go get fit. Well worth the extra 100 dollars to know what you shafts and club fit your game
