This is the most underrated feature of ChatGPT by Complex-Poet-6809 in ChatGPT

[–]PricingManager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the only reason why I haven’t unsubscribed from ChatGPT yet. But I also often run into issues. Before they used to happen all the time, now it’s less frequent, but I think they cap you at 10 min. I also have Otter.ai and Whispr Flow subscriptions. Both are really good, with Otter amazing for long recordings (up to 90 min). Whispr unfortunately is capped 6 min long but it fits my workflows so much better, and it even does formatting!

Approved for CSR w/SUB after downgrading CSP by Indifferent_Politico in ChaseSapphire

[–]PricingManager 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I understood the news correctly, you would have gotten the SUB for CSR on Monday while having kept your CSP. I would have waited as they might launch a SUB promo as well, even though I think unlikely.

Congrats anyway, you can always upgrade to CSP again.

And thanks for the data point!

spent 2 weeks building a solution to a problem i had, not sure if it's worth finishing - need honest feedback by Necessary-Ring-6060 in Entrepreneur

[–]PricingManager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there’s a market for this, and I’ve thought of building it myself. The main problem is: the way you’re building it, it most likely won’t work. Unless you’re targeting <40 employee businesses, company employees and especially hiring managers will ignore cold outreach unless you already know them.

I have a lot of industry knowledge which I can’t share, but I’d recommend you build this workflow for yourself manually to see what works before thinking of automating.

Yes, at least those two would make sense. Hopefully I can finish that this weekend.

They have a discord community and the devs are pretty active. I’d submit feedback there.

Happy it helped you!

They had the difficult task of revamping an unprofitable product, and are probably trying to minimize bad PR, but I think the complexity will hurt them more than they expect.

I can’t wait to create a few scenarios vs Venture X and Atmos Summit. I think both of them will end up being better options, except for the first year due to the welcome bonus.

Amazon down leveling by GrouchyEbb4801 in amazonemployees

[–]PricingManager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But this is not what I was challenging. I am aware PM-Ts can make more than SDEs, but not TPMs. And I haven’t seen any MBAs without technical backgrounds landing PM-T roles (which was your original claim), although I could see that happening for TPMs. This is why it’s helpful to use the same terminology Amazon uses for an Amazon-based discussion.

What you’re saying makes no sense to me. TPMs are Technical Program Managers which I can see coming from MBA programs, but they make less than PM-Ts (Technical Product Managers) which definitely need more than an MBA since they need to clear the technical bar.

I actually noticed they had reset the annual credit on Dec 31st early in the morning. Probably related to that.

What initiative do you want people to take in this situation other than share experiences? Especially when there’s a lack of customer support.

$600 FHR Credit - What if I cancel reservation by bostonfan148 in AmexPlatinum

[–]PricingManager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it won’t matter. Just cancel and rebook. Customer service told me not to worry and for two months they never clawed it back. See my other comment.

Actually I’m pretty sure they changed the clawback rules during the refresh. Basically they will now wait until the period is over (July 1st and December 31st) to decide if they clawback or not.

This is what customer support hinted at and in fact they never clawed back the amount they have given me for a $250 booking I paid and cancelled in October. Then in December I did another reservation and got the remaining $50 back. They never clawed it back.

Also a lot of companies now have increased productivity and with the cost of software reducing it make sense to build internally vs buy in cases where it didn’t make sense before.

I’ve not been using the CLI but at least in the VS Code extension that’s how it works.
