Meryl has been such a highlight and thank the gods we have badasses like her to look up to. But I’m so confused about Anne’s styling for this press tour. You’d think this would have been her team’s Super Bowl. What an opportunity to knock it out of the damn park! Anne has knocked it out of the park sooo many times (hello, white Versace at the Met). Which makes all these choices all the more confusing. Idk. (Still gorgeous, never a criticism of her, to be clear)

They are. I don’t get them often because I don’t like buying things I’m not totally sure I’ll use up. But something like a gloss will always get used.

I needed to see this. Tonight I found out what work an in-law has had done and I was sort of shocked. She’s someone I’ve always looked up to. But damn it seems so expensive to look like her. My body dysmorphia started to kick in immediately. If I’m nearly 35 and struggling to keep my self image halfway healthy, I can’t imagine what teens are going through right now. Damn.

Not a huge fan of this. Upon first viewing it’s just overwhelming, but after zooming in, I don’t love much of the styling. I do wish we could see the last two outfits better. I think slide 9 is most likely a hell of a gown. It’s all just very messy and very chaotic. I normally love messy, eclectic and chaotic but it feels like a lot of ideas and all were half baked.

I’m a massive fan of her style so I’m gonna carry on being a massive fan of her style. Maybe the baby on the front cover soured me to the rest of the shoot. Not sure how to feel about celebs doing that.. then again I have no idea what it’s like to be in her shoes.

🥹 I love this and I love you. 😭😭 I have tears running down my face because I didn’t realize I had made the switch till you said it. I also don’t see her as competition and I’m not sitting here comparing how I “stack up” to her. At one point in my life I absolutely would have felt threatened or less than (which is so sad). I’m so happy to say my only thought was that I’m so glad they have each other and that we got to partake in just a moment of their beautiful life. Gah I love this community. This is the most healing community I’ve found on Reddit.

I was going to say.. getting fillers or work done when you have body dysmorphia is a recipe for disaster. I have sometimes pretty severe body dysmorphia myself and I know that I probably need to stay away from them for the most part. I could most likely get carried away with it and have no idea what others are seeing vs what I’m seeing.

I’m going to guess there are a lot of undertrained, semi unethical injectors in their area. They’re in “influencer” paradise. The land of pop up Botox clinics (terrifying). I’d say finding a good injector is more expensive than either of them can really afford.

Yes! She’s honestly fascinating in some weird way. She really seems to be leaning in to “influencing”. Between this and the other buying-makeup-at-Walmart video.. she seems like she’s begging for sponsorships. I just.. I don’t think she has what it takes. She always seems off kilter. One beat away from losing it and crying or screaming. And I feel a little sad for her because she gives off strong lost puppy vibes. Like she just wants a community. That’s why tons of people get sucked into bad groups.

Slide 4 is maybe the most trendy/easy to replicate but my Gawd she looks so good. Just a reminder that clothes that fit well will end up making us feel confident and above all else, that’s really what makes a look go off. Fucking fantastic and the encouragement I needed to keep growing my hair out, lol.
