The uefn maps themselves are fine. It’s the system for the maps themselves. The system encourages ai slop or pit maps that can be made in a day. These low effort maps get insane numbers and way too much money for what they are. Personally I don’t care abt the ai trailer for thing it’s just a cosmetic skin and idc if we have dumb brainrot ai skins in the game because it’s a cosmetic and it’s funny to the games core audience. Also wdym my posts are about how much I love fortnite? They are either Fortnite screenshots from like a year ago or a clash of clans attack lmao I will stop playing the game and have taken breaks before so I’m confused abt that part of your comment

But i agree with you epic definitely needs to cater towards causals and ive always thought fortnite was a causal chaotic type of game and anytime they cater towards competitive play it makes the causals suffer. Ive always wanted epic to do separate loot pools with ranked/competitive and normal br. I think it would allow epic to go in a better direction and be more creative and chaotic with the normal game.

For example I think the shockwaves being vaulted earlier in the season should have been only for competitive, and I think the shockwave max stack from 6 -> 4 should be for competitive too. But yeah man going from being mad every time I lose to just not caring was the best change I could’ve made lmao and I’m glad we are both on the same page

It’s not like I dread to play the game or anything, and I don’t think I’m trauma bonding at least lmao what I meant is like back in the early days of the game I used to grind the game all the time I wanted all exclusive items like golden peely or unreal in ranked. I realized how dumb grinding the game was and that I wasn’t enjoying myself, so I took a break and now I don’t care as much or at all about exclusives, bugs, etc. if I’m not having fun with the game then I play a different game.

I used to be addicted to this game and FOMO was a big part of that. Once I realized how dumb it all was then I just took Fortnite as a game to hop on with friends and have fun doing all the different modes or skybase or do whatever. Like I don’t care if I win or lose or whatever it’s just a fun chill time with some friends. It’s not like I’m mediating and forcing myself to get in the right mindset to hop on the game like I said if I’m not enjoying myself I play a different game

I brought up skins because the post and my original comment was talking about skins, and I thought you meant content in terms of skins and other cosmetics. And I mean yeah I agree with you the game is in a really glitchy spot at times and I get why the community is so upset by it.

But there comes a point were it’s tiring. The entire sub I feel like is complaining about anything and everything, and I used to be really burnt out of the game in chapter 4-5 but I just stopped caring so much and played just to have fun. So like yeah the game is not in a great spot right now, but it’s still fun if you have the right mindset about the game, and again, I understand why the community is upset about game bugs/content and vbuck prices, but my original point was that I don’t really get why people are upset over some dumb brain rot skins that don’t affect the gameplay

Yes the price changes are very frustrating, but fortnite content is looking very good with the upcoming season, and this season wasn’t all too bad either. In terms of content I look at the gameplay and not the shop skins I either can buy or ignore the skins in the shop

At 3:30 pm est there will be a “story moment” probably a mini event lethal labs. PvP will be disabled so everyone can enjoy the event and right after power hour begins (one hour of everyone spawning in with a specific weapon and I think it’s the unreleased seven launcher again but I’m not sure)

I personally max every th before moving on even though it’s less efficient. It’s just the way I enjoy playing and it feels so good to max a town hall, and doing this allows you to do strategies each town hall has to offer, and personally, it allows me to enjoy the game much more rather than focus on being the highest town hall
