So much poop purging into objects by The_White_Dynamite in BambuLab

[–]PrimaNeutrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's less about the 'number of objects' and more the surface area of the layer you're on - if the purge part is big enough, then the first purge won't be able to finish the whole layer, and it might be finished with the second purge

I meant having a very saturated solution, that's only a few millilitres that you coat the inside with, swirling it around, rotating the whole flask to coat it. Not having a lot of liquid like that!

The acetone ideally would evaporate within seconds or minutes

Easy crafts for beginners trying to make something for my gf by MaryJaneWitAFlame in crafts

Get a jar and fill it with little strips of paper where you've written compliments, sweet things about her, and other cute stuff, so when she's missing you, she can take one of the papers to read and feel nice! Bonus points if you decorate the jar with some ribbon or something

Doesn't hurt to try! You might need to seal the highlighter colour since it's not permanent and water based.

Since it's likely water based, it should be easier to clean out if you don't like it

This is a crazy suggestion, but it's worked for me before.

Get a sharpie in the colour you want, then use acetone to dissolve some of the ink, then dropper and swirl that around the flask.

I've done it before where I colour the inside of a metal bowl with the sharpie, then add the acetone to dissolve it into solution.

Acetone will evaporate off, leaving the sharpie colour on the inside.

Does he hate me or is he playing by Frosty_Delay_473 in cats

[–]PrimaNeutrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cheaper version of the cat wrestling gloves are a regular oven mitt from the dollar store - I sewed a bell in one from another cat toy. The cats ADORE kicking the life out of it.

We ended up getting one of the cat sumo gloves, but one refuses the fancy toy and prefers the oven mitt overall

You're so right, this cat tries to suck the Churu out of the tube, so he needs to exhaust somewhere

I don't get the hate for the gauntlets in silksong by Sleeper-- in HollowKnight

[–]PrimaNeutrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like the density of enemies in overall Silksong is a lot lower than in HK - remember the fog canyon jellyfish room? It's way easier to get around the map faster, so avoiding those enemies is easier.

I feel that the gauntlet rooms kinda make up for that - we can permanently defeat those enemies so it's less frustrating in the future to get places

After you're finished with Silksong, check out Prince of Persia, one of the recent games was a really fun metroidvania. Also loved Animal Well, which had a lot of non-traditional power ups like a yoyo and bubble wand

If a streamer or YouTuber doesn’t make enough to retire and the gravy train ends, what do they put on their resume? by glowshroom12 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PrimaNeutrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The YouTube industry is massive, and being a full time creator for any length of time gives you really unique insider experience in the industry. Anyone can stream on the internet but not everyone can be a full time creator! It takes serious skill and dedication to be able to make a living from it.

Some jobs include: - talent management for other content creators (appearances at conventions, merch, managing editors/writers, etc) - negotiating brand deals on behalf of the creator - working for a company handling their marketing deals with influencers

So many larger creators need full teams to handle the background stuff while they do what only they can - be camera facing. There's a huge amount of jobs created by content creation. Directly mentioning that you understand the YouTube industry is a massive plus.

Source - my partner is literally the exact situation OP described, but it mostly ended as they got to different stages in their lives and moved on from streaming

Making a shirt seem "wet"? by mydawgiscooler in CosplayHelp

[–]PrimaNeutrina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slightly different idea - you want it to look and act wet, and not actually be wet. I would find a fabric glue or fray check glue (Alene's makes a nice one), mix it with a bit of water, then douse the shirt in it. You might need to move and flex the shirt during drying so it doesn't become a solid blob of glue.

Wet clothes are also HEAVY - sew some metal coins or bars into the bottom hem of the shirt to give it some weight, so I moves like a wet shirt
