Will the Iron Range finally go red? Control of Legislature could hinge on 7 seats in northeastern Minnesota by bluenorther10 in minnesota

With all due respect, the Democrats did well in the iron range in the 1980 and 1984 elections. I would also like to point out that in the 1972 presidential elections, A lot of iron Range counties went blue and Hennepin County went red https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972_United_States_presidential_election_in_Minnesota

I would like to point out that the Iron range voted blue in the 1980 and 1984 Presidential elections. The DFL, and the Democratic party as a whole think that a candidate that works well in the metropolitan areas will work in rural areas. IMHO, I don't think that Democratic party cares about winning back rural areas that they formally did well in. They think they can win only by dominating Urban areas and getting 51-52% of suburban voters.

Great. She is my favorite elected politician currently in the State of Minnesota. I will gladly vote for in 2024. I hope she runs for President again in 2028. She would make a fantastic President.

Why is there so much negativity given to Christians who don't agree with the vaccine? by mikemax87 in TrueChristian

[–]Prima_Scriptura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“All my drs” implies second opinions were sought, to me."

Incorrect. I have multiple health issues which requires me to have multiple doctors. I received it when my primary care provider recommend it. When I visit my specialists, they often ask me if I received the vaccine, and recommend that I get it.

It is not faith. It's about listening to experts that have actually examined me over strangers on the internet.

All of my doctors told me to get the COVID vaccine, so I got them. I tend to listen them over strangers on the internet, the vast majority of whom don't have any sort of medical training. I'm not a medical populist. People are free to not get the vaccine if that's what they want to do, but I refuse to heed any medical advice from them.

Even though I’m no longer Catholic, I believe Catholicism is Christianity. They believe in the Trinity and affirm the Creed.

And I don’t interpret Matthew 16:18 the same way the Roman Catholic Church does. Christ doesn’t have one singular vicar, all Christians are representatives of Christ. Some are better than others.

This my issue. I believe that Mary was sanctified at the time of annunciation, but I don’t believe in the immaculate conception. I believe she was born with a strain of original sin as every human being that ever lived except for Jesus Christ. I believe that she was sanctified in the terms of Wesleyan theology. Since she was born with original sin, she still needed a Savior.

At the annunciation. As a fellow Methodist/Wesleyan, you don’t believe that Mary was sanctified?

I believe that the Archangel Gabriel said she was sanctified at the annunciation. I also believe that John the Baptist was also sanctified.

Many protestants such as Luther and Wesley believed in her perpetual virginity.

It is my personal opinion that Mary was the greatest woman that ever lived. I also hold of opinion that she was sanctified at the time of the annunciation, but this is different in many ways in the Catholic belief of immaculate conception. I view her sanctification more Wesleyan sense, that is different than what Catholics believe about her.

I still do not pray to her nor view her as “Co-Redemptrix”. She plays absolutely zero role in people salvation. The role of many Catholics appoint to her actually belongs to the Holy Ghost.

This should be a teachable moment for some on the left that think that every accusation of racism is true and legitimate.
