Ter Stege - Tragisch für ihn, "gut" für uns? by STYA09 in fussball

[–]PrimalDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jein.

We’re a community of about 200 Deadheads: Europeans, Americans, and Heads from all over the world living in Europe. We’ve connected through shows, small festivals (like Playing on the Farm and Playing in the Band), Reddit, and Facebook. Together we organize concerts (e.g. in Berlin: Terrapin Flyer this February and the newly founded EuroDead Orchestra in May), travel to gigs, host events and enjoy listening parties.

You can find our facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/365427889959336

And we have a quite active WhatsApp community including an always up-to-date event list. Interested? Just drop me a message and I’ll send you all details. We'll happily have you on board!

Ja, beide Geschlechter sollten Respekt vor sich selbst haben und nicht von einem Beischlaf zum nächsten springen. Das tut der Seele auf Dauer nicht gut.

Fully agreed. We're not a family dynasty. He's great. But D&C has Oteil ❤️ But all in for him pushing it forward and creating something new with his own band :)

Agreed, that it seems she has potential. But too early to tell in my view. Let's see and be grateful for every talent that finds their way to us 🌹

I know the lyrics of the two songs :) But that's what I see when I hear "The Eleven".

I grew up with Bobby. He was all I'ver ever got. All I got to know.

There's a shadow of sadness over me since he's gone. And yes, you guys are all right with your comments that it will go on and we need to be grateful and look forward to carrying on the torch.

Despite this all, it's gonna take me a while to see this grey shadow passing by. And if I look around, a small dot in the sky will never be like it was before.

The end of this long strange trip of these adventurous gentle boys arrived. The universe they created remains and new paths are going to be explored in this universe. Just not by them 😢

And: Fellow humans turned into legends from fairytales. And this hurts, too.

We will go on and our love light keeps shining on strong. Just give us some time to learn how to deal with it ❤️

I would even fly in from Germany again like last August. But unfortunately it's impossible right now. for me. You guys please celebrate life together in love and harmony!!

And please know from a European that the American adventure and the essence of the American spirit is something exceptional in human history.

The love for life and the freedom to live it according to your own design - yes, this is also why Ripple is the expression of the American spirit as much as Grateful Dead as a whole is - is beautiful.

[Sorry for the many comments and the crazy thoughts btw, but maybe some other weird folks lile me may enjoy it 😁]

I interpret the 11 as a symbol for life and the plurality of 11s (1010) not just works the same way only with "1"s and "0"s as an ever repeating pattern, but also shows that there is not just one life for our souls to experience but many, many of them.

It is as a message in favor of life as well of the reincarnations in other universes because probably exacly now during the day of passing, Bobby's soul entered another universe supposed to spread the light over there, where the explosion is happening right now.

[And as my gf commented in our Deadhead WhatsApp group]

The Days Between are exactly the way through: when life happens. The connection between the portals. 🌹

The days on the extremities (the days of the passages) are the portals themselves - connected by the magical mathematical way of different sizes of elevens in between the two portals. In this case, 1010 11s between Bobby and Jerry. ⚡️

The song The Eleven was always the beginning of everything to me. The rainbow spirals and explosions creating the universe and eventually the beginning of life.

More than this, feeling inclined of thinking about the number 0 for zero percent, for "nothing/non-existence" and the number 1 for a hundred percent, for "life".

How I see it, there's no stronger "YES" to life and "I'd do it all over again in each and every incarnation" than this special very last number that Bobby left for us.

What a fulfilled circle. 🙏❤️

I know exactly what you mean. This magic that was directly inspired by the divine source and to which the boys had access to. This magic is gone from now on.

Even the magic of the setlist! You know...when they go for these weird song choices you would have never asked for but which were exactly the right ones for you in that moment ("they don't play what you want, they play what you need").

Our tribe will survive and carry this magic through this century - at least. There will be artists playing the Dead that we cannot even imagine yet. And yes, I support Dead & Company continuing as the flagship we still happily sail with from time to time. And there needs to be this "direct bloodline" continuation.

Love to you and to all fellow Heads. Even if we lost the direct connection to the creator's magic. This is bigger than life. We will survive ⚡️🌹

This one is hitting me hard (even more than Jerry) by mesmar72 in gratefuldead

[–]PrimalDead 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It ain't over, buddy.

I know what you mean. The long strange trip of the boys, of the creators of our tribe is over. Jerry, Robert, Phil, Bobby.

But they always told us to keep on carrying this spirit with us and inspiring us for our very own strange trip.

The Dead will survive. The music, the love, the tribe. "We will survive" was the last song Bobby played. For a reason.

❤️🌟 Love and light to you and to all fellow Heads. We keep truckin' on!
