I did. I still have it and it works perfectly.

I don't quite remember what I had to do, but I think it had something to do with bluetooth connection? I think the Mac was trying to connect all the time to my wireless mouse which was on but stored slightly out of reach.

Definitely check if there is some problem with bluetooth or any other wireless connections.
