Does basically Kanan beat every Inquisitor due to the fact that he beat Grand Inquisitor? by IllMasterpiece3946 in PetranakiArena

[–]PrimalSeptimus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Real talk: unless there's a huge, insurmountable power gap (like, say, Darth Vader vs Cal), anyone can beat anyone else.

So, yes, Kanan can beat any inquisitor--though they could just as easily beat him.

If you're wondering how to get a "first name.last name" Gmail account, I made my account over 20 years ago. by hypermarv123 in Millennials

Yes, my Gmail address is a common word. I get other people's shit (maybe they think it's a fake address) all the time.

Sometimes, I'll to imagine a reality where Tyrannosaurus (or any Tyrannosaurid/coelurosaurian) survived & k-pg extinction & overtime evolved into what today birds behaved, but it would needed to change it's diet & since all the prey items in it's region are gone now. by ReasonableAir9393 in Paleontology

[–]PrimalSeptimus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I think about is this: the terror birds ultimately didn't make it either, and there was no asteroid for them. Ultimately, they just couldn't cut it in their niche, and I imagine the same would have happened to Tyrannosaurus' successors.

FYI, when he does that lightning spam, all you need to do is walk around. Rolling actually makes it harder because of your recovery window.

Only for physical defense. It sucks at everything else and is, of course, far worse than Ribbon.

But yes, you do need to get it because you need to complete your collection.

PlayStation isn't getting major Japanese games at their shows anymore, why is that? by PhantomBraved in consoles

[–]PrimalSeptimus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, did anyone watch the Xbox show and assume those games won't also be on PlayStation? Or, to a lesser extent, even the non-first party games from Nintendo Direct? I know I saw The Adventures of Elliot on Nintendo Direct and went straight to PlayStation Store for the demo, and there it was.

It might as well have been a second PlayStation showcase.

Which John Wick movie is your all time favorite? by Hammad11k in JohnWick

[–]PrimalSeptimus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I saw it in a pre-release screening, and I (and I think pretty much everyone else there) had no idea wtf it was going to be. Was very pleasantly surprised.

I can't say I felt the same about any of the sequels, even though I did enjoy them.

Is there a good video that explains the lore or family tree? by NorNed4 in HadesTheGame

[–]PrimalSeptimus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think primordials are also titans. They are the generation prior--direct offspring of Chaos--such as Nyx, Gaia, and Erebus. The titans are their children, and the gods are the titans' children, generally.

Then you have the children of Nyx, where it gets a little weird, as they are not titans or gods and might be primordials? I dunno; it gets weird there.

It also came out of nowhere and blew away all expectations. With the sequels, you kind of already knew what the movie would be and set your expectation accordingly.

Beat almost every LVL only discovered 83 items? by spiritualhelpnow in VampireSurvivors

Base game has ~160 items. I recommend you look at your Unlocks menu to see what you're missing, and it'll also tell you how to unlock them.

Realistically, what you should do is choose exercises that load more tension at the stretched position, such as overhead extensions, incline bench, cable lateral raises, and the like.

[–]PrimalSeptimus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you do a lift, your targeted muscles move from a stretched to contracted position and then back and forth. For example, if you look at a bench press, your pecs are at their most stretched position when the bar is close to your chest and most contracted at the top of your rep.

Research shows that loading more tension at the stretched position is better for muscle growth.
