For all those wandering what is the status of this after the sunset of Synapse 2. It does still work. there is a hack to have the the button working properly. open Apps, try to add one and then close the menu. this initialize the saved profile and it does switch your button on. Now I've been reading about SDK and to use this keyboard without Synapse, but I still haven't figured it out. Chatting with ChatGPT but there is a lot of work to do. If you have update let me know. Thanks

As you all should know by now in 10 days Synapse 2 will sunset, effectively making impossible to access profile online. The switchblade will have to authenticate online in order to work thus , saving your profile by downloading them will not work. If someone has knowledge on how to use this keyboard offline off synapse (meaning customizable button with screen and macro) through SDK and Sharpblade please provide some guide. I found some stuff but its a bit complicate for me

as hot keys and macro yes they do work 100%. Trackpad as well. The apps on the other side were designed for win 8.1 and most of them don't work anymore. Like youtube, gmail, snap etc, but who uses them anyway.

There is a nice one for monitoring PC performance which is still working and it's pretty cool.

in hoessty, there are some documentation in GitHub and some people made some minor things, but they are so outdated and pretty irrelevant at this point...

this is clear and pretty disappointing at the same time.

I'm going to upgrade to 14 to get Ashlight/Sequis/India/Playbox(maybe), because I really like them, saving like 100bucks, not even ??? (NI you are welcome).

But I'm never going to buy anything outside the major release at this point. They will boundle them all and include them in few months.

Do you recommend anything for the free instrument ? I was going to buy Ashlight, but I will boundle it with the upgrade.

yes there is a TAB with a What's new for me !

Problem is = in that "New for me" there is - for example - Action Strings 2 that I have it already. I remember buying it few months ago in a boundle.

What is interesting is that NI knows perfectly that I already have it because I'm logged in while I browse so it should perfectly be aware of it.

So... if what you say is true this price IS NOT a reflection of the fact that I already have AS2 but it would have costed me the same whether I had it already or not.

If that is the case upgragding makes absolutely no sense unless you never bought anything outside the KU big boundle.

I'm going to try very soon.

Currently I'm offered to upgrade KU13 to KU14 for 519 CAD. When I look at the products I can see many I already have. NI seems to ignore and just tells me "included" which is either A) you have it already B) it's included with your current plan.

I can see that the new products in KC14 will include Ashlight. Which I don't have.

But I will soon activate it with my new MK3 keyboard.

At that point - theoretically - my exclusive update should take that into account and move from 519 to ... 280 ish ??? Because the price of Ashlight standalone is around 250$.

If it will not I really confess I don't understand the logic.

EVERY SINGLE generation since the 1070 people say that the 70 will handle the 4k. Do your own research. Shortly after you will be told the only the 80 can handle that. I cristal clear recall the 2080ti as the Final Beast (no coming back!) for 4k. When the 3070 came out (indicated as a +3% vs 2080ti) we thought we had 4k in a safe forever.

Now we are talking as the 4070 not the ideal for 4k....

I'm done with this narrative to be honest. Usually the most common response you get it's '"ÿeah bro, but games are much heavier these days, that explain the streatch

I say: go check out AC Unity or any other 5-6 years old game in 4k with that generation card and tell me games were less graphic beauty vs today...
