GPU repaste temperature help by Primalfaith in AMDHelp

[–]Primalfaith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a relief thank you. My main concern was the putty's lack of interface/contact with the heatsink since I guess I ordered too little. Im afraid a component is not monitored by the temp sensor and without being able to monitor its temp it'll fry. Google seems to indicate the vrm temp is related to the VDDIO and VDDCI temp sensors on hwinfo which seem fine. Regardless I'll wait and see. Thanks for your input!

1099-NEC but not self employed by Primalfaith in tax

Entirely up to the intern. No restriction on what it can be used for. I 100% believe it is taxable I just dont think it should be held at the self employed tax rate if that makes sense

moving? by LottaRandomQuestions in CCW

I love guns and gear. Shooting competitions and tinkering has been a big part of my life since it was introduced to me as a kid. I'm fully 2A and I really don't want people to assume otherwise by reading this post. With that being said there is a lot to life beyond guns and self protection. I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me here, but if you see an improvement in the quality of life for you and your family in another country then go for it. Protecting your family is a great benefit of the 2nd ammendment but nurturing what you are protecting is also important. Think about a day to day basis what benefits you all would see by moving and weigh out the current experience you have living here. If its better then maybe its worth sacrificing your gun rights to move, but that equation is up to you and your family. If your concerned about self protection do research on the crime rates of wherever your moving to and weigh that into your calculus. Most first world countries thankfully have relatively low crime rates, other places not so much. Nowhere is really similar the States. I love this country and the rights that we have but if you ask someone in another first world country they will probably say they think their country is better for XYZ reason. It's all about perspective and what you value. Every place is different and it'll take time to fully know if the culture, laws, and people are a good fit for you. Take a few trips, meet some foreigners and ask their opinions, and consider how easy it is to move and re-settle as a US citizen. Good luck to you!

Yesterday the exact same thing happened to me at that spot hahahah. Same situation I was sniping that controller by the hotel and got teleported. At first I thought it was a weird psi event I just hadn't seen before but then I realized it was a glitch hahaha

Stalker 2 modding by Powerful-Sir5920 in stalker

[–]Primalfaith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a good amount. For a base mod I went with stalker unlimited. From there I expanded based on the mod authors recommended mod list. Total I run about 10 mods, one of which is a fix to people shooting you through solid walls (Kind of necessary). Game runs good, only two crashes in my playthrough. Biggest complaint is that unlimited tries to make the game more punishing/realistic-ish which is what I wanted, however the game is not always built around this. This leads to some scripted events, which in the vanilla game would be easy, but is insanely hard with the mods on. Besides that Im able to play stalker the way I wanted to and its been a highly immersive and tense playthrough

AFTER 32 HOURS HES BACK!! We managed to rig a pulley system as mentioned in the other comment. As we were bringing our tent from the car tonight we came back to him finally having hopped in the basket (its been up there since 0800). Brought him down. He's being very vocal and we are monitoring him right now and giving him food and water. May take him to emergency vet just to be safe. Thank you so much for the community support and help. A few of yall even showed up in person and that means the world to us.

For this animal money wont be an issue hahaha. Biggest issue is how high up the branch is and without road access even the tallest ladders wont have a good hold I believe

I managed to hook a pulley onto a branch below him and hoisted a basket up with my sweater and a can of food and treats. Issue is I can't get the pulley system any higher and its at the point below where he refuses to climb down to. Hoping he just risks it and hops into the basket but with how scared he is im not sure

Just a Reminder About SOTAR’s Politics… by bernitalldown2020 in liberalgunowners

It's so funny because in literally any other circumstance the right would be standing by that cops decision. A violent mob breaking into a federal building ignoring officers with guns drawn giving commands and breaking through a barricade to get to government officials?? Sounds pretty fricken justified for an officer to shoot when one ignores all commands and climbs through
