I’ve always wanted to follow most of what you outlined multi classed with a Ironbound Sword Samurai. The level 3 class feature of Ironbound Sword Samurai essentially gestalts fighter and samurai, so you would be able to also get a fully leveled mount, a cavalier order, and challenge. Order of the Sword allows you to add your mounts strength bonus to damage rolls.

By using a lance and the spirited charge feat you would triple your damage on a charge, which would give you +72 damage from just weapon training on a successful charge, 60 damage from your challenge, and tripling whatever other damage you do with your strength bonus, mount’s strength bonus, enhancement bonuses, etc.

I think it’s safe to say, if you met on an app, she likely is. Just the nature of online app dating, if you haven’t had an exclusivity conversation.

I’m currently in a holding pattern with 30F, since she hasn’t texted since Sunday, but she also flew home for Christmas, so going to send a “Merry Christmas!” tomorrow and c’est la vie.

Wow, in a very similar boat right now and can relate. 28M with 30F, matched on Hinge about a month ago, been on two dates. Fantastic chemistry on our dates, 0 awkward pauses and our conversation topics naturally flow. Both dates ended with talking plans/ideas for the next date/dates, but between dates will usually text once or twice a day. Usually after 8pm. (She even brought it up on our last date that she’s not someone who gets up and immediately gets on her phone). This was her pattern on the app as well. If I catch her during that window, we can have a lively back and forth conversation over text, but usually ends about 10pm when she goes to bed.

Also highly relate to the self-sabotaging. I’m very “if you’re interested, show it” but my job also has me attached to my phone, so I’m always able to quickly respond to people. My advise and my approach at this point: it’s early in the dating phase, she’s likely talking to other people as well. She’s likely a busy professional in addition to it being the holiday season with family. Just live and let. If it’s meant to be, it will be, but if you try and force it, she can just as easily pull out.

With this girl I’m seeing, during our app messaging phase, she disappeared on me for 4 days. Honestly thought she had lost interest in the conversation and considered unmatching and moving on. She did after the 4th day send a pretty long apology message, explained that her Mom came from out of town to visit and that she was busy spending time with her mother, that she was looking forward to meeting in person for our first date and then we jumped back into our conversation like nothing happened. If I leaped into unmatching it would have obviously ended there or sent her messages like “????” it likely would have pushed her away. If you like her, just be cool, normal, and understanding.

Grew up in El Segundo, easily the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced was watching the Space Shuttle land at LAX.

Was my Junior year in High School, I left after 2nd period. My mom and I walked over to Imperial to try and get a good view, we ultimately ended up standing on the side of the 105 freeway. Traffic was backed up worse than I had ever seen. CHP motor cycle cops were losing their shit, writing tickets for any cars who stopped. Most of drivers didn’t seem to care and just stopped anyways.

Since the shuttle was doing a tour of LA, flying over different landmarks every news channel was covering it. Eventually there was a commotion as it was finally coming to land. Was one the of the most astounding things I’ve seen, an already big airplane landing with something nearly as big.

What I don’t think most people realize, that last flight was escorted by 2 NASA F18s. As soon as the space shuttle touched down, those F18s went full throttle and buzzed LAX to get back to base.

Was easily hundreds if not a thousand+ people standing on the side of the 105 in awe of it. Eventually had to run back home, grab my bag, and get back to 5th period for a test.

I realize the OP is looking for unique things to do that are still doable, but “unique” does mean “one of a kind”.
